Have just been called by this company.  Gent caller, said "good afternoon" then swore severely and hung up !?!

Hoping they don't call again, as I don't wish to hear that sort of filth again, frankly.  I'm just glad neither of my children answered it.

Just to update....

I rang BT nuiscance help and they have confirmed I am listed with the TPS and this company should not be contacting me.

They asked me to call TPS, which I did, TPS are now sending a small form to me and they will then raise a complaint with the company who rang.

Just had a call aking if I were the property owner, she said they were opening a D.I.Y store where I live, then asking about what I would change on my house, she claimed to be an interier and exterier design company.
I asked why she wanted to know but she just repeated the question, at that point She hung up! I dialed 1471 and obtained the number but realising it was a premium rate number I was not about to call it. It sounds very much like a scam, relying on people to call them back at a premium rate.

these calls are a nuisance

Got the call at 15:27 today to say that they were opening a shop in the local area and were wondering what to put in the window. They then asked what kind of things would we be interested in. They then asked for my name, at which point I refused. The girl on the other end of the line then became abusive and hung up. Called the number back this evening and got the commander dialer line, I then went through their automated removal process.. Only time will tell if it was any good, but the company using the line is totally anon

Two calls now. I can hear voices in the background then two beeps and they hang up.

26 March 08 - Had call at about 19.10, noise in background but no-one spoke, I stayed on line for about 10 secs, saying hello, then the caller hung up without speaking. I'm TPS registered and XDirectory. Very annoying.

Had a call 20 minutes ago. There was talking in the background and the caller asked to speak to the property owenr. I asked them to tell me what it was about, they said 'Not really' quickly followed by two beeps and then the line went dead. I am XD and TFS.

I'm TPS registered an ex-directory but received a call from this number, a man's voice who virtually demanded to know if I was the property owner. Initially I wouldn't tell him but when I finally said no he was quite rude by putting the phone down while I was still talking to him. I too hope to report it to TPS because they are clearly abusing the system.

Have been calling for weeks and weeks. Answer and it hangs up or they ask for property owner.
Have said numerous times not to keep calling but they continue. In the last half an hour I have had 12 phone calls from them!

Phone set straight to answer - when they hear the message, just hang up.

We have been asked to investigate the practice of supreme promotions as they also call private numbers repeatedly even after being informed that they are calling police internal numbers. Your phone service provider is also responsible for ensuring no annoyin or harassing calls are made to you.

Contact your phone provider and ask them to block the number of the annoying and or silent callers. They may tell you they cannot , but they can do it if you insist.

(one of our officers just answers and when asked for the home owner he says 'just a minute I will get him', he then leaves the handset on the table until they disconnect (sometimes 10-20 mins!) this will cost them money and may make them remove your number from their calling plans)

Hung up as soon as i answered - didn't give me time to swear at them! I am ex-directory, and on TPS, for what it's worth!

I am TPS and ex-directory, but have been plagued by missed calls from this number.  They clearly do not just randomly dial numbers like some nuisance callers, as when they do not get an answer from my normal phone, they then call my fax number immediately afterwards.  So they must know who they are calling!!!!

Just got one of these calls - let the answerphone get it - they didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from them. All I could hear was heavy breathing and then they hung up. Phoned them back and found out it was Weatherseal...
