Just got a call from them. All I could hear was heavy breathing and then they hung up. Phoned them back and found out it was Weatherseal...

I got called on this number rung it got voice service and got my number removed also TPS and its a company called Weather Seal this time but it will get used by other numbers as the call centre can rename to use again. So you may get more calls from someone else.

Our telephone number is ex-directory and we are TPS registered. No name was given. CAller asked if I wanted home improvements for free.  Who are they? and how did they get hold of our number?

I noticed the 0845 number on caller ID, and didn't bother taking the call.
Looked it up on here, and glad I didnt!
I am also on TPS, ex directory etc.

Repeated calls with no answer on lifting the receiver. Registered with TPS

Telephoned today, and at exactly the same time last week (Friday mornings), picked up - no noise and was quickly cut off. The number then called back on my second line with the same results.

I'm also on TPS.

Am getting calls from this number, I dont answer. Am registered with the TPS but sometimes wonder what the point is if companies can just disregard them

Today we received our 31st call from Weatherseal! (Is this a record?) For once, it was not silent or some mock 'survey', but a frank sales call. I told the caller we are registered with the TPS, whereupon she claimed her company must have made a mistake. The law does not allow companies to make such mistakes: they *must* check numbers against the TPS list *before* they call them. She then told me a supervisor could take us off their list if I supplied my details. I should cocoa! They know the number they have called, and that is all they should need (it's all that the TPS supplies). The only reason for asking for other details is to harass us through other channels (e-mail, post, doorstep).

Happily, a little box containing the Final Solution to this evil company arrived in the post not an hour before they called. We shall not be troubled by their 32nd call!

yeah, we got them today - Future Homes with 'good news' in my area - I didn't last much beyond this but he got quite stroppy when I insisted on knowing who he was calling from and completely ignored the fact that we're registered with TPS!

Interesting that eight out of ten of the reports so far on this page are from people registered with the TPS. Such people are perhaps more sensitive to such calls, more likely to complain, but even so.... Is it possible that Weatherseal is now working from the list of numbers supplied by the TPS?

The usual - could they speak to the homeowner? - when asked for the name of the person they wished to speak to they couldn't say, so we said we couldn't help them and hung up.

Given that we are TPS registered, this seems to be a firm intent on flouting the rules!

Called today and asked to speak to the home owner, I have FLU and could barely speak but it didnt stop the waffle so I hung up. sniff sniff atchoo.

Weatherseal Fire and Security systems called me and when i said I was on TPS they simply hung up

I've had mostly silences, a couple of times i've heard call centre noise and hung up before they've spoken. Now when they ask if i'm the homeowner, i say no, i'm renting, then they hang up

Nothing more constructive to add other than another TPS (ab)use. Didn't answer as it showed 0845 on the callerID.

I have been called the past two nights by this mob and they keep hanging up. Tonight I called it back and I got through, they are called Weatherseal (i think couldnt hear them properly). The voice says 'sorry we missed you we will call again later' then goes on to say 'if you wish your number to be removed then hold the line' so i did and they removed from their calling list.

This is Weatherseal.  Asked to have my number removed on several occasions.  They keep calling.  I am TPS registered and have complained.

They were trying to sell me double glazing.
When I told them I shouldnt be receiving calls of this nature as I am TSP registered he started arguing with me that I couldn't be!.  I checked it was still current a couple of weeks ago as I am noticing an increase in calls again.  After he told me I was wrong he continued to try and sell me windows, so I hung up

Yet another call, this is the eigth call since 6th January, tell them I am with TPS and they hang up, within hours they call back again. This is Weatherseal.

Silent call then they hung up. I too am on tps and this happened after i reported call to the tps.
