Just received a call from them. Same as most folk on here.  Trouble is, it's a new number that I've only had for 3 days and only my wife and I know it so far.  Now TPS registered.

Company name is Weatherseal,windows,asked your number to be taken of there register,i am TPS cover and intend to report them if i get another call.please if you are with TPS report them and they can be fined thousands of pounds ..

The ICO received enhanced powers on Wednesday to fine firms that are caught making unwanted marketing phone calls or sending unwanted marketing emails to consumers of up to £500,000.

08452639001 called again. Call regularly every few days, every week. Never here to answer, but the number comes up in caller id. Has been going on for about 1 year!

keep getting calls from this number but when i answer it goes dead. i am XD and TPS regd

Called today asking to speak to the homeowner, when I asked who's calling was asked again to speak to the homeowner.  I then said WHO'S CALLING as I don't think anyone has the right to invade my privacy and start asking questions without announcing who they are.  She then said rather annoyed "it's ok, I'll call back when the homeowner is in, I then said I am the homeowner now who is calling but she had put the phone down.  I was furious. Phoned the number back and it was Weatherseal.  Dam cheek.

They asked for the home owner and i said that the home owner doesn't live here and i rent the property. They said they would call back later, i said no dont bother calling back at all because the home owner wont be here because she doesn't live here. they hung up before i could ask them to take my number off their system! hooooooow infuriating

argg! makes my blood boil!

This bunch of cowboys rang asking to speak to the homeowner as they had a "tremendous offer" for that person.They hung up as soon as mention was made of the TPS. These types of marketing calls should be outlawed and severe action taken against those that flout TPS registration.

Yet another call received form 0845 263 9001 but luckily only seeing their number coming up on my telephone screen so don't answer the call.  But that's not really the point - they should NOT be phoning at all.  Getting fed up of them - that's a call almost every day for weeks.  Why don't these Companies be made to adhere to the TPS regulations  - and as I'm ex-directory like a lot of other people in these postings - they should not be able to access the number.  It's time the law was changed so that they would have to identify themselves and we should have far better protection against them .  What more can you do except be ex-directory and be registered with TPS?  If I knew who the Directors were of the Company I would phone them at home night and day until the lot of them got the message - LEAVE US ALONE AND FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME.  Well that's better already - I enjoyed that wee moan!

Telesales - ringing from a "local company"....... home improvements. Like many others here, I have TPS and XD.

Fed up of these people calling me trying to sell me windows or some other product, I tell them to take me off their DB but they still keep calling.

Calling me at mid-day on a Sunday! Like they're going to get an answer!

Two words for these clowns BLOODY PESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Repeated nuisance.calls when I am asleep from Weatherseal.  Despite calling telephone preference and asking Weatherseal to stop coldcalling me, they persist.

Call from Weatherseal. Claimed to be local but address on their website is Cheshire. I'm in Edinburgh.
Wanted me to give them information without knowing the name of their company or what their business is. Kept saying they advertised on TV and radio as if I was an idiot for not having seen their advert. So I don't pay attention during the ads...

I'm registered with tps.

I give up.....this company keeps on phoning....I just say I rent the house and they put the phone down.

Doesn't anybody from ofcom or whoever monitors these people ever come online and check for complaints on sites like these ?????
