The people that are named in the article and who have been convicted, once worked with the Directors of Minster Legal in Gainsborough until they were closed down.
Then they parted ways and started Express Law of Doncaster and now Charter Legal of Lincoln.
Its only a matter of time before they are caught and sentenced.

Can I ask how we can go about getting our money back from them? Charter Legal have charged our parents £3000 - I see the same names listed as other companies so they are definitely connected.

Direct Law from Doncaster now using a new number (03300881893), wanting to send an adviser to help to avoid care home fees and protect your savings. These people are linked to a number of dodgy companies Express Law Ltd and Synergy Legal who rip people off with expensive wills and worthless trust documents. AVOID or be scammed.

I have been on the receiving end of Alana benson of charter law who rented from me refused to pay rent stole items from the property and left summons from all service providers to the property and also debt recovery and bailiffs from the previous address she was at she even got an 8 year old boy to do some gardening then did not pay him the £5 she promised him! Do not rent to her she ruined my property and left me in financial difficulty. She swans around paying for her lifestyle but paying no bills whatsoever an awful awful person!

Please be aware this company is now trading as indeed law instead of direct law!!!

My thanks go out to all of you who have exposed these cheating parasites, my 92 year old mother in law was cold called and agreed to a visit from a representative, from charter legal. Fortunately my wife was visiting when he called to confirm the appointment and we were given time to research the company, and thankfully we found this site and were pre warned of their scams.

i have recently applied to charter legal in Lincoln for a job in telesales. I'm already working so was giving up a secure job to work here sounds a good company.  Was warned staff turnover was rapid. This has put me off is it really this bad ??

I am a PI investigating Alana BENSON & have submitted a damaging report to Action Fraud & the Police. I am also working with TV to get her exposed, after having prevously worked on Kye Files & working with other agencies to put her where she belongs once & for all. All the companies which Alana BENSON was involved in, mainly being director & ALL liquidated with her owing money to thousands of elderly persons are: Express Law, 365 Legal Solutions, Direct Law 4 U, Charterhouse Legal. Spent most of today liaising with Police re BENSON. She is going to get the shock of her life very soon

Have read the last few pages regarding the businesses in question and are fully aware of their questionable practices.  Have extensive knowledge and information to support your position on them which we have previously raised but no action seems to be taken to stop them.

Unfortunately, their actions have had a severe impact on us and therefore I will not post full details on a public forum without full knowledge of who such information is being shared with.  If you are able to establish your position is to be as you state above, I am agreeable to sharing with you all information I have.

I have been investigating BENSON all week & am in regular contact with South Yorks Police, trading standards, Action Fraud, BBC. I assure you I am an official PI and have set up fb page to expose her. I would really like to hear what evidence you also have because she is very soon going to be hit from all angles.

I want to get the parasite BENSON behind bars along with all her associates because it was my ill parents she scammed. I was working away at the time & they thought it was genuine. Now they are distraught. My mother has a heart problem awaiting a hip op & my father is disabled with severe rheumatoid arthritis. I will not rest until I see the whites of her eyes being sentenced at Crown Court
