Received by recorded message service on Virgin landline phone.

I have also received calls on my fixed line home phone from 0845-6021111 often after 10pm stating that it's the BT SMS voice text delivery service, another number 0800-5875252 is provided as a help number.
When you telephone this number you find it's used to change the SMS text service options, in fact I was duly informed that I was on the 11pm to 8am tariff, if you do nothing and just wait you will be told another number 0800-077771 for help.
I have received this BT message for a service I have not asked for as I am not a BT customer. I do not know if there is a cost associated with accepting`the voice text. I am not happy about receiving these unsolicited phone calls from BT and I will be complaining to BT, to my service provider TalkTalk and to Offcom about this.

I have been receiving calls until after midnight from this number and no messages left. It is very annoying and I dont know how to stop them. any ideas??

my sister got a phone call from this number on her phone and i don't even live with her, asking to speak to me urgently, i rang the number and was directed to this site, who the hell wants me and why are they calling on my sisters phone?

I keep getting sms text messages on my work numbers from 08456021111 but i can't get them off who is sending them???

I would like to change my number from my home number to my mobile? I wish it had n't come on my home number.

Reeived a text message on my home phone this afternoon.  I am concerned that this is a way of making people pay for something in wehich they have no interest.  Does anyone know who uses this 0845 number?

Received a call from 08456021111 at 2.54am too tired to bother with it until 8am. When I rang it just said that it was BT SMS pickup text and there were no messages.
Does this mean I have to turn  the phones off in the house so everyone can sleep through the night???
i've tried to use the number given by someone in the chat forum to stop the calls,  but all I get is, number not recognised!

I got this call and on pressing 1 it said are you in . dont know who it was from though

I followed the advice given on these pages to phone the 0800 number - chose option 5.  They've just called at past 10 p.m. and that's followed loads of calls today alone. People who know me don't use this rubbish.

why do we get these calls all hours of the day and when caller id comes up on my home phone it shows my home no or 0845602111 then when i answer it the message says my name then along code its areal pain in the [***] how can i stop it

I keep getting calls from this number, sometimes late at night.....Ive had a stroke, so its really annoying me when I have to walk all the way down the stairs just for nothing!!!!

this number just phoned my landline about 8 times..havent answered it...defo a scam...

got a phonecall early hours of the morn expecting it to be important, it was bt text messaging service called it back, there was nothing on there, I called bt and they said they will block tele sales phoning me.
