Why would they be phoning at midnight?

received numerous calls purporting to be from a BT SMS storage site - bt has no connection, probably a "rip off" service.

i got a message on my hse phone but did not get the number from which i did not take the senders number this was by text my number is 02088585571 at 10.39 can u help

just got a sms message from this number    Love you Hun  rang 1471 to find out it was this number

i didnt know about this feature from bt until i decided to text my home number with a lovely message to myself as a test. i discovered that if anynoe texts me on my landline, i call this 08456021111 number and i can listen to the messages. some are from people i dont know while others are from friends and family. you can arrange a time when you want to recieve these text messages or if you dont want them at all, call bt or sky and ask for this feature to be turned off. otherwise, the calls will keep coming. if anyone knows more information regarding this issue, please let me know. thanks and good luck.

I received a call from this number at 11.30 at night this caused me to have a disturbed night sleep don't know why I received this call or who it was from

It can  be anyone that knows your land line number to send a text message to you, Dept collectors are the more likely at the moment  i know cause its my son not me but there getting rely on my (@)(@) at the mo

we got a call at 23.15 from 08456021111 and it was just filth on it for a woman to lisen to .

This is continually calling me at all times of the day and night

4 calls from this number starting at 8.45 until 1.00pm. Recorded message said BT Text service....press 1....Gobblegook message of letters and numbers.  Rang off quickly.

We keep on getting a phone call each day, from BT, to say we have a text message which cannot be delivered from my husband's mobile phone.

Any suggestions how we stop this occurring?

I keep getting SMS messages from the above number, no message relayed.  I don't know the caller and do not want these calls, how can I stop them?

Kept ringing persistantly all morning and annoying me. After dialling 1471 I didn't bother answering.

I just had a call which said something about shredding a thousand plus somethings . Gave some more phone numbers.No idea what it was about.

As a widow these calls are upsetting
