Received a call on Saturday evening me  telling me my delivery from the warehouse was just leaving, I have not ordered anything.
The same number appeared a few moments ago, i just ignored.
I think when you press the number for a message you are charged.

Yes, this is a scam phone number and yes, they have sent a scammer here to keep trying to convince you that the call is legitimate.

Called twice on a Sunday evening after 20:00hrs - did not pick up so no idea of caller’s ID

This number calling daily.

Rang bt support and they said it was a scam call. 08456 021 111 gets directed to my junk calls now. It amazes me how bt are instrumental in these scam calls!

Since the number is be used by scammers, how does that make BT instrumental in the calls?

All very well but usually the message and caller is identified right away. Iv had a few. This is dufferent scenario.

l have received 3 calls from the above number this morning

I got 3 text voice-messages to my landline from this number saying it couldn't translate them. I thought it was odd because the recorded message that came with them said it was from BT, and I no longer have anything to do with BT.   A friend whose mobile has just been stolen got exactly the same  messages on his new mobile. I wonder if they were forwarded/shared from the same person. I don't  understand it but I assume it's some sort of scam.

This number called me at 12 20 last night and woke me up. I didn't answer but it really disturbed my sleep.

It's a messaging relay service number owned by BT and used by most phone operators. It will call a landline when someone sends a text to it. Google the number and check all the results.. The sender's phone provider has intercepted the text and is attempting to relay an audio translation. It is an 'opt out' system.  Other phone number checking sites will tell you how you can opt out or block the number at source.  You can also reset the curfew  time that the number can and can't call.

Alternatively, you can send a text to your own landline. When you pick up, the computer voice will introduce itself, tell you the originating number and then give you options.  One option will be to block or reset the the curfew time. You will know the call is genuine because it will tell you your mobile number when you pick up.

This number should not call at silly o'clock at night so it could be that the call was not a genuine message but scammers spoofing this number. Spoofed genuine business numbers is a serious problem for businesses and their customers.

Sorry folks but the above poster is one of the filthy scammers trying to convince you that this is a legitimate call. Has been trying for months. The mods usually get the posts and take them down but I guess they missed this one. Do not believe one word that stinking piece of trash has posted because it is all lies. That turd is wanted in several countries for stealing from old women and men. Taking their life savings and leaving them homeless and penniless.

I knew that if I replied to you then you would show up to do damage control because you hate being outed for being the filthy, stinking criminal that you are.

Or again under its registered screen name which it posted on the prior page by accident.
