Dear David Moulsdale / Optical Express,

why dont you spend more time keeping customers and employees happy.

If you did , you would not have to have to waste your company time and money having feedback removed from the internet because it would all be good which would be great for the business!

They pay companies to remove bad search results from google!

my wife was constantly called by this number she went to optical express shop in metro centre gateshead where she was told she had a eye disorder called macula degeneratino which means she is going blind and there is no cure for it, a week later she was asked back and after another eye test she was told oops we got it wrong you are not going blind sorry, i ust wish i could contact david mousdale to see if he thinks this is good service from his company but as usual you cant get through to him not even to his PA

This is so serious you should check with CAB/Consumer Direct to see if there is a regulatory body for opticians.  Your poor wife must have been sick with worry after a diagnosis like that.

things just keep getting worse as i said my wife was told by one optometrist she was going blind then a seconed says no now they want her to go back so as someone they call a eye doctor can have a look and let her know for definate whether she is going blind or not, even although they know she is a pensioner and disabled , most of the time having to use a wheelchair they insist she has to wait untill after they have asked the first optoetrist if we are telling lies or if he dosent know what he is doing before the eye doctor has a look. plz  plz someone tell me how to get in touch with Mr Mousdale who i am asamed to say is  a fellow scott

Sandy contacted me for help, but then OE called him Friday am! They told him they'd seen this site & asked him to take his wife in on Monday (tomorrow). I asked him to please call me before then, but no response :(

I had my vision destroyed by Optical Express, for over 30 months i've been back and forward between them and their so called top guy at Harley St, i've been 'treated' twice and now am stuck with such bad vision i'm effectively disabled, driving at night is impossible. I've now been told that any more surgery is dangerous so i'm left like this, and to think i've actually paid good money to be left in this state is disgusting. I've initiated legal proceedings and will take this all the way, the press is my next step with every tabloid getting my full story, and this is one hell of a story with my initial reasons behind having the surgery in the first place. I still feel sick thinking about my initial consultation with an 'optometrist' (actually just an office worker!) when I specifically asked about large pupils as this is a major problem with LASIK outcomes, she just reclined in her chair and said 'don't worry, you are a perfect candidate for LASIK' , this was complete and utter lies, my pupils are large and this is whats causing my problems, if they had only spoke the truth when I asked them then i'd still have my eyesight.

ANYONE CONSIDERING LASER EYE SURGERY, DON'T BOTHER AND SAVE YOUR EYES FROM THIS LIVING HELL
