All I'm trying to point Is that since the UK population are being nice about your freedom to spam the whole country with your win laser eye emails ,
Even when we do not need glasses ,

You should be a bit nicer about people giving constructive feedback on the Internet - the people that exercise that same freedom .

And if you are really that funny about feedback on the  Internet  why don't you move to China ?

Optical express are the burger king of eye surgery,they are making millions through mucking poor people's eyes, my eyesight is shocking now and I paid goo money to have my eyes ruined and ruin my life.

anybody going to optical express be very careful as you will be examined by a optomotrist probably a qualified one most people will take his or her advice about what there eyes need, Now if anything goes wrong as a stalling plan optical express will tell you  the optomotrist is self employed and does not work for them and if you have a complaint take it up  with the optomotrist, i think most of there optomotrists are locums  self employed. i am sure this is not the case i would think if a optomotrist is working in one of there shops and you go in to have your eyes tested by optical express then that optomotrist is a represetative and employee of optical express at that time. if you value your eyes stay away, above is just part of what they are doing to my wife

The best place to go for any type of optical advice is a small independent optician.Many of us have forgotten that these places still exist as we have forgotten about small independent butchers,greengrocers etc.as the high street has filled up with Tesco,Morrison,Specsavers and Optical Express.
These small practices survive on their reputation and are accountable since the owner of the place probably works there,so you can have direct access to the boss.
I know these places don't offer laser eye treatment.What i'm saying is perhaps it's time we learned to appreciate and value the little man on the high street as our parents and grandparents did.

In my opinion he is either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid.

A philanthropist? One could also suggest that some companies use charity to avoid paying taxes and see it as good marketing.

I wonder if there's any significance in it being a French site?

I personally think David Moulsdale will be controlling the comments on the blog.

Pity his 'philanthropy' couldn't stretch to Danny and his terminally ill 5 yr old child!

my wife went to optical express and after being told she was going blind - then a week later oops no you are not going blind another week goes by and a diferent diagnosis plus all this time having a near nervouse breakdown all 3 exams carried out by locums they now want her to travel to manchester even though they know she is disabled and has to use a wheelchair and take very strong pain relief just to travel 30 miles to newcastle, im sure even if she was able to travel down there we would find out that the so called independant exam she has been promised would be being carried out by a friend of optical express, so this is definately a case of.

Have you been to your GP?  Surely it would be better to do this before going further with this company?  If you mention the macular degeneration I would expect the GP to give you an immediate  refferal to a hospital.

OE want Sandy's wife to see Mike Lavin - as he correctly guessed, employed by David Moulsdale at Bridgewater Hospital!!
