I have no reason to disagree with your observations...they merely reinforce the importance of bringing this organisation to book for the damage they are causing to PEOPLE'S EYESIGHT and their lifestyle as a consequence. This organisation is making money for it's owner at the expense f their customers and staff alike. NO ONE wins  apart from the one person living the millionaire lifestyle at the expense thousands of others. In nobody's book can this be right.

I realise that your duties at OE related to the initial process of getting potential customers interested. But I have heard rumours that further Down the line OE employees are pressurised to (and rewarded financially for) passing a target number of customers as suitable for surgery. DM has been asked to comment on this but has chosen not to reply. Do you know of any of your former colleagues who could throw any light on such
Business practice? It's about time injured parties, whether they be damaged patients or former employees (or current employees as you could be next!!), got together to bring this outfit to book for their GUNG HO treatment of people's eyesight!!!!!!

They are your customers who paid you to help you buy your mansions and pay for your parties and help you be what you are today.

I think the lack of response speaks for itself. If the rumour was untrue then a simple statement of denial would suffice and would not be a lie. But by keeping quiet, although  DM is not telling a lie ( but I don't think truthfulness is one of his attributes) he is doing nothing to allay suspicion.

I don't think DM would entrust his eyesight to his own company if he felt he needed laser surgery. It would appear, from my own experience and subsequent investigations, jat OE staff do not follow the guidelines/teachings/advice of their own eminent Chief Medical Director (please googled or name) when it comes to pre surgery screening. I presume that if surgery was deemed suitable for DM, he would go to a reputable provider eg Moorfields, rather than risk the conveyor belt which is OE....after all he would have first hand knowledge of how OE operate...so why risk a his eyes especially when he has millions from risking others'

What Optical Express 'HELPED' me to get was nearly 5 years of pain/discomfort and unimaginable visual problems leading to my having to give up a well paid career, being unable to drive, unable to read or use a computer for long....etc etc...the list goes on.....a devastating, life changing experience.This IS NOT WHAT I WANTED and paid a large sum of money for. And I cannot believe that another medical company such as Moorfields would have OBLIGED in this way.
I TRUSTED THE INTEGRITY OF THE OE STAFF DURING THIS PROCESS ......BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!

With the benefit of hindsight this is exactly what happened to me.....I was even told things that I now realise we're total fabrications, I was not adequately screened for a pre existing condition.....the surgery recommended for me, I have now found out, was contraindicated given my pre-existing condition.
I trusted the professionalism and integrity of the people I was talking to....but I was badly let down, and to make matters even worse are the rumours that staff are required to pass a target number of people for surgery in order to earn their salary or indeed keep their jobs. This seems to be irrespective of whether those people are suitable.
Damaged patients and former ( and current if brave enough) staff should make a concerted effort to exploit this blatant deception.

Exploit should read EXPOSÉ in previous post...sorry...that's what eyesight problems do to you!!!!

He has no interest in the wellbeing of his workforce, which is why he abuses his position of trust as an employer to prey on and get involved with young females (employees) through lies , hires multiple bedrooms at his Optical Express Christmas parties and gets his PA to pick up for him. ( as Alleged by 'EX' a commentor on this forum )- I think he therefore demonstrates his attitude towards the the duty of care he has towards his employees.

Another commentor called ' Chang ' has dubbed David Moulsdale the ' Jimmy Saville of the eye world '

2. Someone anonymous  called 'ex' has written on this forum , insinuating that David Moulsdale is using drugs.It is rumoured previous to this that Moulsdale has been using cocaine according to 'speechless.'

3.He is so interested in the best standards of eye care that he (as Sasha Rodoy alleges) has offered a government campaigner a bribe- in contravention to the bribery act and the law, not to campaign for government legislation in laser eye- surely the better option was to work with her?

4. In Personnel Today 2005 it was reported as follows

'Optical Express/The Dental Clinic has been accused of managing its staff badly and ignoring employment regulations. Personnel Today has received a letter from a source close to the company detailing a number of questionable employment practices - all of which have been denied by the management.'

5. David Moulsdale been reported in the papers to have affiliations with a well known scottish gangster.

6. He seems to have no problem with removing feedback about him from the internet (eg this forum, ex staff of optical express facebook pages and wikipedia) so and trying to inimidate people to not be involved in saying anything negative about him- probably so he can drag more people into his fantasist life of no consequences. (The ex staff of Optical Express had nearly 200 members with mainly negative feedback which has now been removed from the Internet )

9. There are comments on this forum suggesting people feel intimidated by Moulsdale eg .'bob etc'

Moulsdale has borrowed heavily from RBS (to make his millions) which has been bailed out by taxpayers to run a business which has recently caused an 80 store subsidary go into administration and job losses, causing tensions with landlords as reported in the Telegraph.OE was accused of shutting shop before the rent was due .

11.  in 2007 Optical Express became engaged in a dispute with HMRC . This was over a disputed 10.9 million pounds in taxes.

12. Optical Express has been reported in the Which magazine as being the worst performing optical chain

13. Optical Express were featured on tv programme Watchdog which sent undercover  customers into their stores. They accused OpticalExpress of providing misleading information to customers and underplaying risks of laser eye surgery .

Yes thanks was aware this was imminent....will certainly be posting on there and on the forum and would advise anyone with a complaint to do likewise to boost the hits and get even more publicity for the NOT SO GLAMOROUS ways in which OE can give their customers a LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Just thought i'd post about my experiences over at the Money Saving Expert forums, it seems OE are very active there, lots of spam posts with people signing up just to say how great corrective surgery is and offering money off vouchers, smacks of desperation really, I promptly report such spam and it gets removed. I also see many posts from ordinary folk enquiring about corrective surgery, obviously I post and direct them away from OE and explain the reality that alot of people have to suffer due to negligence which is so widespread now, unfortunately OE don't like this, not one bit, they get very heavy handed and pressure the admins to stop me posting.

Well, they will not stop me posting, I keep getting posts removed but I always repost straight away, the truth needs to be told, these butchers need to be stopped. I am so angry I let them near me, I put faith in them to do right by me, not lie at every turn just to get my money, and even after when its obviously clear that they were totally negligent they did nothing to remedy things, they just tried to hide it all and mask it up until my legal limitation period was up.

I do see light at the end of the tunnel for myself in this, I have the best possible legal team, and a specialist who they cannot discredit, and a top barrister who will tear them apart in court. I'm prepared to carry this through to that stage, to get a judgement against these cowboys will be justice served and hopefully it won't be long before the wider audience of the public are made very aware of the underhand tactics these butchers use and how they act with no morals or integrity just to get to your money.

I will be very happy to see OE go under, i'd be even happier to see the industry as a whole go that way too, I believe this stuff should be left to a small handful of proper, specialist surgeons who operate with ethics and moral standards and will not lie at every turn just to get you in the chair and grab your money.

It's going to be an good year coming up I think, my own case and countless others are gathering steam, I just can't wait for the day when justice is complete.

I have not come across the Momey Saving Expert forum yet but will take a look...I,ve been  been posting on Review Centre which you have also posted on...it's interesting that the % of patients who would recommend OE on this site is barely over 60% against the 90%+  they claim desptte a suspicious flurry of positives immediately following a negative post!!! I have raised concerns there about the way OE arrive at the 90%.....based on 35818 out of the ONE MILLION OE claim to have treated.......this is     4% !!!!!!!  and says it all.....this company cannot be trusted and should be exposed...  And yes I agree with you....from what I can see the gathering movement  WILL expose the dubious business practices which potentially put people's eyesight and ultimately their livelihoods and  lifestyles in jeopardy in the name of profit....and for someone to do this without a tinge of conscience  is abhorrent and cannot be allowed to continue.....new OERML add extra impetus to the growing movement

I hope OE crash and burn along with OPTIMAX and the rest of the clinics
