@windering pressurise you LOL you have no dignity. You spent weeks begging to meet me and when I agreed you couldn't back out quick enough as you knew I would show you up for the lying farce you are.You had your chance to prove whether or not I was an OE employee and you chickened out behind a flurry of lies like the spineless coward you are.I have plenty of friends thanks, I invited many of them round for x'mas dinner. What was it again that you did for x'mas? That's right you were on this forum posting - hardly the actions of someone with lots of friends and loved ones.

@windering you should be ashamed of yourself for being such a bare-faced liar. Are you denying that you repeatedly challenged me to meet you?

The only person who has been warned as to their conduct on this forum is you. You have been warned numerous times not to re-post your tedious garbage yet you continue to do so. Only a matter of time before Julia bans you. If your banned from here what are you going to do on x'mas day?

@Wondering - or should it be "dimps"

If you check back you'll find that I have never called you Windering.  That was Julia and reading with interest.  Though I have called you Wandering, after your prose style and content.

What you think of me is immaterial.  You obviously don't care about your command of the English language, otherwise you might try to improve it, to make yourself better understood.

Still obsessively re-posting the same old drivel.  Even after two warnings.  How long before even Julia loses patience deletes all your posts and bans you?

I've no need to prove that I'm a real journalist to you or anybody else.

However, I will post details of the article nearer the time and you'll be able to see who I am.  My working name at least.

If you are so keen on identity, why not lead the way, post your own details and tell us why you are so anti OE and David Moulsdale in particular.  There might even be a story there ;)

You claim to be a journalist and haven't got the courtesy to tell people on this forum who you are or what your real email address is

Do you work for David Moulsdale ? I think you do !

You continually post here (the same old drivel) but won't tell anybody why you hate David Moulsdale so much.  It has to be personal.

Courtesy?  That's fine coming from you!

I remain anonymous here so that no one can try to put a gagging order on me or try to establish and harass my sources.  Sasha is apparently very quick to threaten legal proceedings.  Ask Nachash of Doxbin fame though he apparently continues unabated.

I posted a temporary email address here and made further contacts, who, in turn referred me to others.  It's been a useful exercise.  However, I don't need or want to make contact with you.  You don't appear to have anything useful to say.

More importantly why do YOU seem to LOVE David Moulsdale so much ?
Has he offered to share his pension with you ?

Ur posting here for no reason which is a lot worse !!

If you claim you have got what you want why the hell are you still posting here ?? ???

Why does it matter what I post here ???????

Is it because you are here to discredit anyone who has got criticisms of optical express or David Moulsdale ?

What did you think of optical express recentky posting a loss of 1.5 million pounds ?

Do you think it explains why so many people seem to be complaining about trouble getting refunds and compensation. ?

What about optical express disputing millions of pounds of taxes with HMRC since 2007 -

Do you think David Moulsdale is doing a great job running optical express?which is effectively  funded by bank debt ( effectively taxpayers money - since the bail out )

As a journalist do you think it's right that optical express are alleged to be trying to control the negative press on their Wikipedia page ?

I'm still posting here because I believe that people like you should not be allowed to try and stifle other opinions and should not be allowed to try and rewrite history unchallenged.

Read my previous posts.  I'm not here to discredit anyone with criticisms of Optical Express.  As I have said before, all of the major laser eye surgery eye providers stink.

I'm quite happy for people here to criticise Optical Express.  I'm not happy that Optimax is excluded from the campaign for industry regulation, that any post not vehemently against OE is immediately assumed to be pro-OE, or that multiple aliases have been used to try and create an illusion.

I have no idea how OE is run, therefore no opinion as to the management.  I would expect all production line clinics to be suffering now.  They are trading on price for elective, non-essential, surgery in a recession.  In simple, terms not enough customers to meet the running costs.

All businesses monitor and try to control publicity.  It's a fact of life.  All businesses try to minimise taxes.  If OE have been doing so unlawfully, HMRC will prosecute.  Start living in the real world.  I report on it, not try to moralise or control it.

    @I know you!
    So completely wrong.

I think you should give your real name and real email address so everyone can believe it when you say that you are a journalist and you are not working for David Moulsale .

Don't know what kind of 'journalist' is researching a story but won't give their name out ,

    Well wierd .

As I've said before, you should try thinking.

What you know about journalism is reproduced on the back of every postage stamp. You've had your answer.  No name because I don't want my story stopped.

As for "weird", you are obviously very well qualified.  I don't understand why it is so important to you to re-post the same old drivel or how you think that you can get away with twisting words and trying to re-write history.

Still haven't heard if a single journalist in the world who doesn't give their name out!

Don't buy your story about legal stuff - you don't seem to want to interview anyone here apart from readingwithinterest - from what ive seen you havent requested to speak to any complaining laser patient on this forum -i hope you can see why you aren't particularly credible !
Readingwithinterest is the one that swears at women and seems very protective of optical express -i think he probably works for David moulsdale .i wouldn't be surprised if you are too -

    Good night !

Optical Express: Eyes bigger than their belly?

Watchdog, the BBC consumer affairs programme, recently visited a number of Optical Express clinics undercover to enquire about the risks of laser eye treatment.

The general feedback: ‘There’s nothing to worry about…nothing at all!” But is laser eye surgery that straight forward and are customers sufficiently warned of the risks?

Laser eye surgery is commonly used to treat those with eyesight problems by permanently changing the shape of the cornea and the lens within the eye. It can result in people being able to abandon their contact lenses/glasses for everyday purposes, saving them money in the long term, and ridding them of the general irritation of wearing contact lenses/glasses.

Admittedly the risks of laser eye surgery are much less than surgery performed under general anaesthetic, with some experts suggesting that sight threatening risks are much less than 1%.* Still, does that mean people shouldn’t be warned of these risks? To say there is nothing to worry about, ‘nothing at all’ is misleading. There are many risks that can develop from laser eye surgery, including and not limited to, further deterioration to your eyesight! No procedure, as with laser eye surgery, is 100% safe.

    Satisfaction guaranteed?
Another issue is over selling. This tactic appears to be employed by Laser Eye clinics when marketing laser eye surgery (based on the under cover investigations by Watchdog). ‘Perfect eyesight’ and ‘cured vision’ are phrases that are banded around when marketing the treatment. What isn’t explained is that many people that receive laser eye treatment may still need to wear glasses, even if only for specific activities, such as driving or reading. It is also not uncommon to still have some eyesight problems post treatment. Laser eye surgery is not always the ‘perfect fix’.

If you are considering laser eye surgery, don’t rely solely on what you are advised during your first consultation. Be prepared from the outset. Research the benefits and risks of laser eye surgery before your first appointment.. If you don’t feel the information you are being provided with is in line with your own research, don’t be afraid to challenge the consultant!

Laser eye surgery can be a life changing procedure, and the risks are low, but you should still be informed so you can make up your mind as to whether the procedure is right for you.

Providing misleading information regarding any medical procedure is a matter for concern, especially if something goes wrong. Situations in which a person feels they were not able to make an informed decision about their medical treatment, because they were not advised about the medical risks, can be very complicated.

We are currently investigating a number of enquiries from people in the UK who are unhappy with treatment they received from Optical Express and would encourage anyone reading this, who may have similar concerns, to get in touch.
