I like everyone else have received many calls, I am ex-directory and registered with TPS, I refuse to call them back as on principle I do not call 0870 numbers, I wonder what would happen,if every time someone got a cold call instead of ringing back 08708507619, they rang back immediately on the freephone number instead,and left a cold call

Supremoglaze 5 calls in 4 days, despite saying (politely) each time we were not interested. Can't this behavior be classed as harassment?

didn't give a flying whatnot that I was TPS registered, so they clearly don't abide by the relevant legislation / codes of practice.

Important thing is to make sure that you all register a complaint via http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consumer/ as prosecutions depend on getting evidence of repeat offending.

they are very rude they hang up on me!!

I have just complained to the ICO about the call from this number, we had a person on the line each time and its worse than no answer or hanging up on you. We had 6 calls in 5 days each getting more abusive and rude when we said we did not their double glazing, and to stop calling. When they now call I've taken to ringing their freephone number and tell them I Don't want double glazing, the answerer advises to call the other number, but I just hang up, call again and repeat I Don't want double glazing......

Just had a call from this number. Sounds very casual! A girl asked to speak to the home owner. I asked who was calling, and she ignored me and asked again to speak to the home owner. I told her I am the home owner. Then she asked a third time, so I decided to tell her I am not the home owner. I kept asking who she was but she kept answering with "I'll phone back later" and then she said bye, but as I was putting the receiver down she was still talking. Odd!

This number called me at 10.08am.  There was silence/mild 'dead air' noise.  A second later, a voice that sounded like a computer-generated/pre-recorded voice (text-to-speech type thing / English accent) said, "You were called today by Supremoglaze--", at which point I hung up (I think that was what the company called themselves).

This will be the 'next thing' - spam for telephone lines.  Automated messages offering useless things.  The entire thing could be automated from call centres, with practically no staff required.  Oh joy...

I had a missed call this morning from them. I have looked in to this company and I have seen that they have gone in to Liquidation so I assume they should not even be trading. The directors of this company are also directors of a number of companies in the double glazing industry including Weatherseal, Wilmslow Windows and Bardox Group. The directors all live in and around Cheshire.

I recieved a call from this number, hoever I didnt pick up, as they have been calling what seems like 10 times a day.
Is this just a spam call?

i had this call, first of all the phone was silent then a male person asked for me by name then hung up, as suggested i have complained on the ofcom website.
what can they gain from these calls? must be weirdos.
also must be quite distressing for some people especially when the calls are silent make sure you complain.

This number calls between 1 to 3 times almost everyday between 1500 to 1700 hrs.  There is never anyone on the other end, just the sound of a call centre.  We are exdirectory and never given out our number to any company.  I have complained to ofcom.  Is ofcom doing anything?

How to make a million dollars...
buy an 0870 number then dial lots of people before they pick up. If they are curious enough they may call you back and if that happens, keep them on the line for as long as possible... what a scam....

Funnily enough I also entered a comp to win £7000 worth of windows. Co-incidence... Nope.

A cold caller about double glazing  who was very abusive to my mother when my mother was reluctant to give her any information. Unfortunatly my mother could not remember the company the caller worked for.

had a call from this number yesterday (sunday). wasnt home so a man left a message saying he could see me behind the curtain!! quite worrying!!
i tried to call back but no answer. i hope they call back soon so i can challenge them on this! everyone has a job to do and if these people are a legit company then they should do their job and not leave weiord messages on someones answer phone. there was no need to do this.

Answered a call 1600 glt 14.05.08 [ Orange mobile in Greece ! ] and the 'male' insisted that I had called him... hung up end of story.

This is 100% supremoglaze, I have asked to be taken off their caller list, emailed them and called their customer services. STILL i am getting phone calls at all times of the day, and on sunday's.
Companies of this nature pay their sales staff per cal they make, hence the silent phone calls and hanging up...

We all need to complain to ofcom/TPS (through ofcom website).
What a bunch of usless idiots.
