The address in Spain is a courier company maybe a mailing house you can look it up on Google maps. So if Carlos Rodriquez actually exists which I doubt he would work for the mailing house and not Free and Easy!

The same thing happened to me! And also got told that they were based in Spain when the lady answered the phone she sounded perfectly English to me? I have seen the address on the letter and searched it on 'Google Earth' and it only comes up with a notice saying that it is not recognized or it comes up with a post box?? These people seriously need to be careful with the amount of people they are scamming. I hope they can live with NICKING money off of people who are over 70! I called again to demand a refund and spoke to a girl called Tili. She was very helpful and insisted she would put the money back in within 7-10 working days, so lets see if this money will re-appear in my account or not. These people are scum and should be stopped right away. I have contacted trading standards and by the sounds of it I wasn't the first one to report them. So I ask anybody to report them and hopefully we can get them stopped together.

Believe it or not, Simply Home Entertainment: Music and Memories had the cheek to send me one of their brochures this week, despite being told to close my account and not to contact me again.

Suffice to say I have returned to sender, without a stamp!

I guess site Admin have removed the personnel details of the thieving people that run this scam so here they are again, why should the company have our details but we can't have theirs!

I got the letter and brochure today and after some investigating found this thread.I was called to see if I was happy with the product which I wasn't at first as it arrived damaged but received a replacement.
The caller went on to say I would receive some offers by way of apology for the inconvenience,nowhere did I give permission to use my credit card details,ended up cancelling my card over this scummy organisation,I'm amazed at how they can get away with it for so long.

I got a call about 2 weeks ago about the space bags.The lady said she sendout special offers I said I wasnt interested.I got the letter today in post saying I was a member of free and easy lifestlye and Ide have to pay £99.99 after 30 days.Ive cancelled all my credit cards its a discrace they can do that.

Ive tried ringing the number 08712203097 from my mobile in Ireland but it wont ring do you have to put any numbers before it since its not an Irish phone number

I also got a phone call from space bags,  I emailed them and asked them why did they pass my information on to this company. They sent me back a reply stating that I had agreed to it, which I did not. How are they allowed to get away with this. So I have to phone them now and cancel a membership I did not agree to. So annoyed.

I'm trying to ring from Ireland too I think we should contact the consumer association of Ireland and see can they advise us.

other source we believe is possibly a company called The Saress, the Ultimate Beach Dress,

number (Done). With the bank. and attempt to source the problem. Thank you for the alert and
appreciate that this type of correspondence could easily have been put in the waste bin. We will also try to contact our Local office of fair trading.

This a scam taking money from your account

I have just seen that my account was debited £99.99 by Free & Easy, a company I have never knowingly dealt with. I called their number and they said one of their "partners" - a company associated with a company I had shopped with (but couldn't tell me who) - had phoned me some six weeks before and I had verbally agreed to some kind of membership. I get a lot of junk calls but all I remember is one call from, I thought, AhhBra, asking me if I was happy with my recent purchase. I remember them wittering on, and I said something like "yes, send me details" just to get rid of them, but had no idea it was for some sort of holiday membership based in Marbella!! I am not stupid, and if I did receive any follow-up literature, it would have gone straight in the bin, unopened. I work from the UK for a holiday company, based near Marbella, and there's no way I would have said yes to such a proposition!! And how have they managed to get my bank details from AhhBra I would like to know? I'm amazed. The UK "agent" has promised to credit my account with the full amount because it was "mis-sold". Huh - who are these people!?
