Just had a  call from this number asking for a girl who used to work in the office. I said she doesn't work here any more and could i help at all and he just went "Mmmmm" and hung up on me! How bloody rude!!!

Got a call from 091148, dialed 1471. They just called asked my name and then hung up.

im getting a minimum of 10 calls a day with silent messages - if i answer the call they hang up - this is becoming harassment!!

Got one of these from that number,I had won holiday, knew it was a scam and said can you hold on someone is at the door and left them hanging there.  Waited half and hour and they had gone so put the phone back on hook.

I  am constantly getting calls from this number.

Foreign gentlemen asking whether  I can confirm I have a BT line. When I ask if I am speaking to a BT representative they say 'yes', when they quite clearly are not phoning from BT.

Called today and asked if this was a bt line. Foreign sounding person She hung up when I said I wasn't interested but started laughing as she said thanks.. Number was 091148 Time 14.50 hrs.Mon 22nd March 2010

I too got a phone call from this number.  I previously got calls from what I believe is the same guy on 08448 466524 (and many others) trying to obtain personal details fraudulently (1 person in India has lost money to this doofus already) and there ar pages of others complaints in India and here in the UK under the non-existent company 'Galaxy Finance' (offering to pay off debts interest free for a fee!  As if!! LMHO!). He goes by the the name of Sagar/Samir from what I managed to trace. I changed my number twice (now, virtually no-one has it)  And yes, he calls again - so it's either my bank, cable company (I'm with Virgin Telewest.  They have an Indian call centre and I received the first call to my new number within 48 hours of changing my number (at that point I'd only gotten around to giving it to my Mum -  a Septuagenarian technophobe - so you do the math!!!).  

I sent a letter to Central Scotland Police detailing everything I had on him and (yes, you guessed!) have not heard anything back.  So even when you do the work for the police - they do nothing (or perhaps no-one else has complained?). What if he rips off an OAP/vulnerable adult?  I personally was worried about ID fraud.  Even if he's in India, surely crime/harassment/obtaining personal details (what good's data protection laws?)  by fraudulent means in the UK must be prosecuted?  I think he either works here or works for a UK company call center based in India.  We must all have some company we deal with in common where he can access our info.  If anyone has any thoughts or wants to make a complaint, I'm happy to send a copy of my complaint to your police contact and maybe then they can do something?  email t.wright987@yahoo.co.uk

Just had a call from this number 091148, they asked who was my phone provider was - sky or bt and when I said I wasnt the bill payer they just hung up - the woman sounded about 10 year old on the other end!

Every week night I get a call from this number. Then tonight (Saturday) it was at 19.35pm. A long silence, first of all, so i know its not someone I know. Before he utters a word, I hang up. Why can't these nuisances be stopped.? My number is exdirectory and all calls where the number is withheld, don't get through so why is this number permitted.???? AAAAAArgh !!!

just had a phone call from these someone called "colin" told him my name was vishnu seemed to stumble him

if anyone should get another call from the above mentioned number HANGUP, you will prob find its a RE_VERSED call charged at £2.00min.....................STAY CLEAR

This guy phoned me and asked what phone company I was with. I hung up as I usually do with these sorts of calls. He then phoned back and whispered that he wanted to f**k me in the ass over and and over. After initially enjoying the conversation I hung up.

The phone rang. A pause at the other end, then "Can I speak to Mr Cardoso please?" I replied he had not lived at the address for five years. The Indian speaker at the other end then said "Sorry" and put the receiver down. Their records are clearly out of date!

Caller asked me to confirm my telephone number and then hung up. Said something to do with UK `prize draw¬

These morons have been calling me for days.
I have asked them to remove my number and stop calling but they just keep carrying on.
They deny they are selling anything.
I have told them that I am with TPS and they say it doesn't matter!

They just keep calling and hanging up! Getting seriously fed up! Got a disabled Granddaughter  and a Daughter who is an Insulin Dependent Diabetic and need my phone free for emergencies! Don't need idiots like these phoning me! Please somebody do something about them if you can!
