Report a phone call from 130-088-6534 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Rob replies to G RobertsI've also been scammed by apply club. Also don't believe anything Vodafone say. An article in the Herald Sun on April 6 2014 had Vodafone spokesperson, Karina Keisler, saying that thaey had asked Appy club to stop marketing to Vodafone customers. I've just noticed that I'm still getting billed from them. Vodafone, Telstra, Optus and other providers, take a cut from these low-lifes. That's why it"s on your Bill! If you want to find these scumbags, it's easy. The company trades as - 8Z PTY LIMITED. Go to ASIC home Page - choose - Organisation Business search. Choose - Current Company Information - and there you have it. It's a $9 but worth it , as it gives you all the info on the scumbags ripping you off!!
- joeThis is disgusting! This has been going on for years and some criminal is reaping the rewards.
I just noticed my mobile being billed to this dodgy service I have never heard of and tomorrow I will ring optus and if they dont refund my money I will cancel my contract at the next renewal period!
Even the fact that you cant call the unsubscribe number because it is incomplete stinks of a scam . Why doesnt the industry ombudsman shut this down. Makes you wonder ? - Hopefullydealtwith| 1 replyI experienced the same subscription without being aware of it. It results in $41.66 of charges to my account. thankfully Optus provided a credit up front for the charges, as well as a contact number 1300 886 534 (seems to be what a lot of people have listed in other comments) to call to ensure the subscription was cancelled. Prior to calling I had also received a text from this mystery subscription and I was able to navigate to unsubscribe.
To be sure, I called the 1300 number anyway. On first try I selected option 1, to speak to an operator (option 2 was to unsubscribe, but I don't like talking to machines!) and the phone went silent. I tried again and got an operator who must deal with ongoing cancellations - she had me on hold for approx 2mins while I heard her breathing and typing. However she advised I have been unsubscribed as well as had a permanent block placed on the subscription. I asked her how this occurred and she explained the steps exactly - she must have been reading off a script - so I'm hopeful i was actually unsubscribed and it's now dealt with. However, if not I can at least rely on optus to credit the false charges, and there is also a person attached to that number - so I will definitely be taking harsh action if any further charges are applied without my consent.- Caller: 8Z Pty Ltd
- AnonymThese people ProSports have been charging me $5 a week since few weeks without my knowledge. They link this money to ur mobile phone account, and I have been thinking may be I m using more of my data or calling service and so have been charged extra.
Finally figured it out the Pro sports have been the one to charge me,I called them and told them that I don't remember clicking on ur subscription it might have been my son who plays on mobile, and just clicking on their sites should not make me subscribed to it.
They should ask some kind of confirmation like putting phone number or credit card details. They are of no help. Very poor customer service. Will have to take this matter further.

- Lesley ShipkaHere we are in 2014 and same crap happening. Have just realised and looked through my Telstra bill to find I have been paying this service for the past 12 months on my phone and my daughters. NEVER subscribed. The person I spoke to would not provide his name not was there a supervisor to talk with. I have now spent the last 2 hours going through all my bills, scanning them and sending them to via an email - and the address has bounced back.
I cannot believe this and that Telstra, Vodafone and Optus take no responsibility. It is crazy and pure theft!- Caller: AppyClub
- Mavisscam calls which charge people $4.5 from each call if you answer the calls
- Kenthis is definitely scam as from the bill i've been given by Optus, the record of the time i've been charged is very wired, some of them even happened at 1:00am in the morning, i have never been to bed so late for more than 5 years. after the negotiation with Optus, they covered one month payment of this, which means for the rest of 3 months charges i have to pay for that. still thanks for Optus for what they do for me, but somebody really need to look after this scamming things, this is really disgusting.

- susan s| 2 repliesNoticed phone bill had gone up by $20. I checked phone bill and noticed four Third Party Purchases from Mobipay Pty Ltd. I have never subscribed to anything. Having no idea what this was about decided to "google it" to see what it is about. This scam has been going on for years and nobody has put a stop to it. When doing an ABN search, the ABN number printed on phone bill, comes up as "no record". ABN number is not correct. I rang the contact phone number 1300886534 and got a recorded message. I unsubscribed and also stated that I would be contacting the police regarding this fraud. I also send a Telstra advice barring premium SMS. About a week later received a call from the company who said the trouble is people do not know how to use their mobile phones. Surely I would remember agreeing to terms and conditions when I supposedly subscribed? Anyway she agreed, very rudely, to unsubscribe me. I will be seeking reimbursement from Telstra as they are aware of this scam which makes them an accessory to this fraud. I will also be reporting the matter to the Telecommunications ombudsman. I am astounded this has been allowed to continue for years.
- Jodie replies to susan sOMG this exact thing is happening to me right now!! We upgraded our phone through telstra in Sept 2014 & have been getting these charges of $5.95 per week since then.... thats nearly $100 for NoLimitGames!!! I dont even know how to play stupid games nor do I want to!!!! So you think going through telstra for a refund is the way to go?? Clearly these idiots at Mobipay P/L arent going to pay?!!! "One very annoyed Telstra customer!!"
- jodie replies to susan sI've just spoken to a lady at Mobipay & after a heated discussion (mostly from my end) she has thoroughly explained how this happens & has given me the info to email to arrange a refund!! Basically NOTHING in life is FREE!! She said the free apps have the banners etc... that pop up & if you click on them (yes even just the once) then you are subscribed!!!! There is no password access needed anymore to subscribe to these so if you have young children using your phones BE CAREFUL!!!!
Also never ignore the constant text messages (like I was) read them & unsubscribe ASAP!
Good Luck everyone :) - Tania replies to SpaceIt has not been sorted out they have also scammed me Since December 2014 up until now!
I just thought I would find out why my bills were escalating so I called Optus to find out why?
I was told that I have received SMS messages from 8Z P/L
I am totally unaware of receiving anything from them & I have never subscribed to anything ever!!!
I most definitely will be taking this matter further 😡 - TaniaHave been scammed!!!

- Wayne DixonCLASS ACTION?
Here I thought I was the only one whom has been caught up in this scam by these marketing companies and it appears Telco companies!!! When I googled the number 1300 886 534 to my shock there are hundreds of customers just like myself whom have been 'ripped off'.
I will not bore you as to my story as it reflects a similar vain to many others, however I will give you a short version. My latest Optus bill showed a number of entries and charges from a supplier MOBILEACTIVE which is connected to Global1. It was during this statement period and those charged dates that my mobile phone was switched off for a month. I decided to check the past 8 statements from Optus and realised there were numerous charges on all these statements from this company through Optus. I first called Optus for them to explain what these charges were for, they could not explain the charges. I then googled the number and made contact with Global1. They claimed that they had no record of my mobile number. So as usual, neither Optus nor Global1 knew anything about these charges even though over the past 8 statements I have been charged $318.50 for an unknown service. I then made contact with Optus and they have agreed to repay only the current months charges of $36.40. They also agreed to pass on my details to Global1 with regards the charges outstanding and attempt to have all charges refunded to my account, best of luck with this!!!
This situation reminds me of the recent 'class action' against banks for charging excessive penalty fees. The result of this 'class action' was that the banks had to repay fees back to customers. In the above case and what has been happening, I would suggest there would be thousands of customers whom are in the same situation as myself and have been ripped off with these charges.
This is my point; would there be any support for a possible 'class action' against these marketing and Telco companies?
I look forward to any feedback on this situation.
Regards,
Wayne - CainWe have the same problem in Singapore.

When I contact the Telco, SingTel, they claim Convey Global Pte Ltd (affiliate company of 8Z Pty Ltd) as 3rd party and SingTel cannot terminate such subscriptions. Yet NoLimitsGames are advertised on SingTel's website!- Call type: Text message

- Steve replies to CarineMy god, just had this on my optus account, just read thru this thread, this has now been an ongoing scam for many years. Very poor show by Telco's and authorities that someone isn't in jail for this and its still an ongoing issue. Rang Optus and they started giving me the run around and I stated 'This is fraud and Optus are helping them commit it' ..... everything reversed almost immediately and the number blocked.
