they just called me at 2:44pm and the guys name who called me is Jordan Spots so if anyone wants to they can try and bug this kid at home..

I got this call at 2:09pm today...
but it was odd it was a woman who talked...all the [***] calls like this I get are usually males

Im [***] tired of this [***],I work the night shift,and these [***] usually call between 8am - 2pm..the time Im trying to sleep

....its crazy the amount of these calls,my family has been getting lately..Ive gotten them on my land line, cell phone ..my mother has gotten them on her cell and so has my step-grandfather

keep getting this call from 202-495-7170 - keep in mind every time they call on your cell you are being cnahrged for it ( 0.25 cents ) I think it is Rogers trying to get some quick cash and If I find out I am right I will sue them

Found this number on my landline.  Know a few people in D.C., but not from this exchange.  Didn't leave a message.

Got a call from this number - auto recording message started saying something about my credit card...Not a first time, scam!!! I dropped from the call.

Yep... heavy calling in NS today as they just called us also - I don't bother answering the phone. It has a lot to do with the problems with the National Do Not Call List - apparently the brain trust at the CRTC did not understand that they were selling a list of guaranteed working numbers that could easily be abused. They are supposedly trying to fix the problem, but in the meantime everyone who registered for the do not call list basically put themselves on more scam telemarketing lists than they ever would have ended up on under the old system.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago on my land line. The recording came on saying about ways to lower your credit card interest rate. I pressed a number to speak with someone. They wouldn't say what company they are calling from or even what country they are in. When I asked them to remove my number from their list they said they can't and I'll have to call a different number to do that. When I asked them for that number they hung up on me.

Yup same old telemarketing [***]. I didn't answer. Sick and tired of these calls!

I got this call about 15 minutes ago at my home in Keswick Ontario Canada.  I answered the call and pressed 1 as suggested and asked loudly and angrily what they wanted since they called me.  The telemarketer hung up on me.  I then dialed back and took my number off their list.

There was no answer when I picked up.  I live in Canada.

is it a scam #???

Just recieved a call from this number Mar 12/09 at 1:15 pm in New Brunswick, Canada. Noticed it was from District of Columbia, so I didn't answer.

Just received the same call a minute ago on home phone.

I live in New Brunswick, Canada and this number repeatedly calls. Finally I answered and it was regarding lowering my interest rate on my credit card. Funny thing, though, that I don't have credit cards. It's a scam people...the local police have posted about these people in our local paper. Beware!

I just received a call from them and did not answer it. My Dad lives in DC so I called it back just in case it was him and it was some recording saying press one if you wanted to take your name of the list. So it is some kind of telemarketing company. I guess they have to eat to.

Just called me and I am in Las Vegas on Verizon Network. How they got my number beats me. Nobody has it.

Just got the call on my home phone, I also will not answer it, they leave no message. We are with Bell

stupid telemarters always calling, and being way annoying
