I had a strange experience at the stamford mall. Few days back the lady at the kiosk approached me and told me my daughter looks good and that she would be great for the ads and tv. So I said ok lets give it a try as I gave my daughter's name and mine, another mother passed by me and said that its a scam and she got $1500 TAKEN FROM HER AND NOTHING happened. I immediately stopped giving her my information and the main person at the kiosk ran over to her and started talking to her. I felt the need to walk away but the woman at the kiosk said that their son wouldn't stay still for the ads that why she is upset. I walked away from them immediately..........Blessed is that mother's soul who warned me before hand.

Thank you for all this information. I have an appt in two week but I was gonna skip it anyway because I have to be to church at a certain time and I would not have made it back home. The lord would have saved us.lol...I have the same similar story a woman stopped us at the local mall and told us that our daughter was beautiful and was interested in our race. The the rep called me non stop mon and tue. I had an uneasy feeling about them because they were calling me so much. Then i directed her to talk to my husband and they set up the appt and everything. She then called me back today and told me that I had to bring my ID and something else to identify myself. Then she started rambleing on about how anyone could bring anyones child and they need that information to show that we are the parents. I said to her how will that tell you I am the parent????She had no answer for me! Then she said well you dont sound to interested. I left it at that. They did not sound to professional and I did not trust them so im glad that I did this investigation and I will not be attending our meeting. Her name is Helen....No last name by the way and herr number was 203-391-5844

WOW!!! That was a really a mean and evil thing to say about Paul and Jason.  If you had a bad experience working for the company and/or did not make it as a call center specialist, that is not a reason to bad mouth the supervisors or the company for that matter, it takes a certain nak and a certain person to work in a call center no matter where it is or what the company is asking you to do. Just like trying to get into the modeling and acting industry, it is just as hard.  All they are trying to do is help people get started and I think this is a great concept, no matter where you go you are going to have to pay at least for pics so why not InterFACE, they already have built a relationship with agencies and advertisers to better your chances to get that door open for you!

Try to do this yourself, see how many calls/auditions you get on your own vs InterFACE!!!

Hey Mark, It's a good thing that you decided to leave. They actually did you a favor by making you leave. This place is a rip-off. We actually went through the so-called free consultation. They make your kids feel like they are already superstars. They promise you the world. But when you read the contract, it states the exact opposite. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY EMPLOYEMENT OPPURTUNITIES!!

Check the Better Business Bureau....They received a F+ rating.....

Jacqueline, they have a excellent money making scam going on preying on the children. They play on the kids emotions. They practically promise them the world. If you read their contract, it will tell you the exact opposite. Check the Better Business Bureau. They rate them a F+...

You messages are hillarious Ray. How long have you been in the industry? Since your are such an expert on the concept.  Ray let me ask you a question do you believe the news too, if you do dont leave your front door because something bad is going to happen to you.  The bottom line is the internet is a source of opinion, just because it is not a good fit for you, doesnt mean it is for someone else.  Freedom of speech allows all of us to have a voice. How come then you dont reserch what you are saying before you state it.  The interface company is a marketing company, they dont find people jobs.  More importantly they are not trying to hide this. As far as the BBB again do your reserch because it is a huge scam. Do you think it is govt. funded?  Dont fall victim to the programs.  Get out there and make your own decisions in your life.  You are the example of what happens to people when they allow others to make their decisons for them.  They stop thinking for themselves.

If they stop you in the mall, DON'T BELIEVE THEM!! they just want to steal your money. Don't make appointments, as they will call you 3 times a day just to assure that you're going.. and if you try to get out for any reasons (such as no money, no time etc.) they will say that it's a good investment, and that you should sacrifice money "to make your child'(s) future" they will say ANYTHING to keep you paying them money. The waiting area is strange, because it's a big space, yet there are barely any seats. Just ignore them in  the malls! It will save you time and money!

Interface is a scam! In May last year i was with my cousins in palisades mall. interface's booth stopped us over saying that i was perfect for modeling. i stupidly believed it so i gave them my info.  they called us the next day and the next day and they just kept on calling me wanting me to go to their "free" interview. my mother finally agreed and my parents and i  drove down there one sunday morning. during the interview the lady asked me questions and then finally they asked us if we were interested. she showed us the prices they were outrageous! she lowered it though. we finally fell into her trap and paid. a few weeks later i had my photoshoot. then another few weeks later we went down to see the photos then we had to pay for them and a contract. they lowered the price for us again because they were just too expensive! my two year contract has started since june. i got a call back in novembor saying they booked me an audition for something and that they will call us in a few days with details, but it seemed so suspicious because they rushingly gave us no details about the audition it seemed like she didnt know anything and was just making it up as she went along or she had a script. they havent called us back yet. i never got that audition and i believe i never really will it just might be a call from them just so that we could think their actually trying to help us. dont believe them they just want money. i cant believe someone would actually scam people like this. i highly doubt they would like this to happen to them and lose tons of money.

I got stopped in the mall and fell for the 'you have nice eyes' line. Since I am an actor I thought it couldn't hurt to at least hear what they had to say. Since then they called me three times to talk about different stuff. I became suspicious because most entertainment related companies are not so pushy and eager to meet with people they have never even watched do anything. When I made the appointement they asked me to bring a recent shot and two forms of non-photo I.D. such as a bank card. That made me very weary. I talked with a couple friends who insisted that they are big time scam artists and to beware. When I called to cancel (lying saying I had a cold) I got all sorts of questions about my "cold" when they couldn't just take the fact that I wanted to cancel. When I did try to cancel they tried to indimidate me saying this was the only opprotunity I'll ever have. Whne I became more insistant the lady ended the call by saying in a pleasant voice 'thank you for waisting the companys time' when I had finally just had it with the tart and hung up. These people are scary.

My husband and I went to Palisade mall.  A man came up to us and said that our children look very cute and would like us to go to see their directors and see if they could be models.  We gave him our information.  A man called and made an appointment with us for 12:00 P.M. on a Sunday.  He said that we don't have to pay.  We drove for an hour and a half.

The address of INTERFACE MODELING is:
    35 North Water Street.
    South Norwalk, CT 06854
    Interface Talent Network
    (203) 391-5870

We saw people taking pictures of children.  A lot of children of different nationally were there.  We waited for thirty minutes.
When we were in the room, a man, so called "Director."  A lot of people where called "Directors" and they are all under 25 years of age.  Most of them look like College Students.  He asked us to show our ID and credit card.  He raised them up high took a picture of our information in the HIDDEN CAMERA behind him.  In the beginning, that man said that our children looks "Awesome!"  Twenty minutes of saying that my children are cute, he showed us some pictures of the models.  The children on the profile do not look like the kids on the advertisement.  They are not the same kid.  The director asked us to pay for $900.00 for taking 45 pictures and help a child take a picture.  We said that we will think about it, he said we have to decide now.  When we said we don't have to pay and am not interested, his face turned red.  He was very angry because we did not fall for his scam.

After going home, we looked up for Interface modeling on the internet.  We found out that they are Scams.  INTERFACE Modeling should not be in any malls or be anywhere.  They should be banded because they lied to people.  They don't look for modeling for their clients.  They lied to people.  If any Modeling agencies ask you for money, they are scams.  They should pay you, you don't pay them.

DO NOT TRUST INTERFACE MODELING.  THEY ARE A SCAM!!!  Peopel who paid $1000 the first time and $900 the second time, should sue them.  This company was kicked out of New Jersey and now they come to CT.

    DO NOT TRUST INTERFACE MODELING.

Um, I just came back from this experience and my fiancee was not with me.  I kept telling the lady that my daughters can wait another three weeks while I speak to my fiancee and get the final answer.  She did not let me leave and pretty much drove me insane for 2 hours straight. I tried to leave but couldn't and she went from 1,200 dollars to 575 for each kid.  I finally gave in (stupid i know) and i paid for both daughters the supposed price of one infant. Their photoshoot is tomorrow and I am going to get their pictures etc, and taking the CD with the photos and printing them and creating their own portfolio.  I decided that i'm going to give it a try since my daughters are beautiful, and if they don't get anything in two months, i'm going to sue them.  If this is truely a scam, they deserve to pay for the damages they have caused.  I really hope all the things i've read are not completely true because i feel really stupid right now since i went there thinking i was not going to pay a dollar.  Now i don't think i will be able to sleep until i either a) get my kids what we paid for or b)sue them and make them go out of business.

I would like to thank each and everyone one of you for your posts.  I was approached on Saturday, April 17th in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall, by a beautiful young african-american woman.  She seem very sincere and I gave her my information on a card.  I was called on Sunday and set up the appointment for Tuesday afternoon.  I was even going to pull my daughter out of school earlier.  After reading these comments I am not bothering to even go and I am not even going to call to cancel the appointment.  If, when they do call back I will let them talk to my husband and when he gets through with them I know they won't call back.  I hope somebody shuts them down and soon!

I worked for the company for 7 months, they are the biggest scam, they do not care who walks in the door, as long as you are willing to pay money. The manager are all stupid!! Ramon Toribio the DM has no college education he is a drop out. Olga who is the DM, only cares if you bring people in the office. Managers are sleeping with their underage employees. I was always told that BLACK ppl and SPANISH ppl are BAD QUALITY because they do not have money to pay for a $1000 photo shot. They got kicked out of all the malls. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! OH yeah they look at what kind of clothes you wear before they ask you, they want to make sure you can afford the photo shot. They love the WESTCHESTER MALL, because all the ppl that come there are RICH.
