- Stevie| 4 repliesNo Info, says Telefund, calls after 9pm, or usually at night
- Joyce| 1 replyThis number belongs to a company called Telefund. It raises money for various humanitarian organizations. It is located in downtown Los Angeles. I have given to several organizations, but I don't appreciate being called 2-3 times a day every other day by Telefund. I have entered this number in my phone system so that it tells me who is calling so then I don't answer or just pick up the receiver and put it back down again. They send me enough request for financial assistance in the mail. I need them calling me too.

- jaythey keep calling and its very irritating to have to pick up since everytime i forget its them and have to answer thinking its someone important. Now I have saved the number and I never pick up.
- Danny| 1 replyA number of irritating calls each and every day... I hate this !! Wish it would stop ...
- Caller: telefund inc.
- susanwe get calls from this number everyday at least once a day. Caller id says Telefund, Inc. Very annoying. I have answered before and told them that we could not give. Now, we either let the phone ring or answer and hang up.
- AnnoyedSeems to call often when I'm on the other line, too.
Everday, annoying. - Pete| 3 repliesFrom Alan @ 800notes.com on 7 Jun 2008 -
"They solicit funds for progressive causes. Call them, they'll remove your number within 24 hrs. if you dial [ext] 304 and then leave your number." - d| 3 repliesthis company makes a thousand calls per day or more, 22 complaints that you were in fact called by them is not a credible complaint. i have called the 213 number and got an automated system which gave me instructions. in additoin to that the callers are generally professional and polite. the people that call are working and supporting thier lives and thier families. whats the real problem. a thousand or calls per day!
- Caller: telefund inc
- M. Huntcalls but no one is there
- J GoebelSometimes call multiple times per day, day after day after day after day...
- RichardIf you listen to the end of the call it will tell you how to get off the automated call list by dialing "303" during the call. I did and spoke to a human. Good luck.
- Lorenzo| 1 replyTelefund, Inc., calls continuously. Will try Richard's suggestion on dialing "303".
- Jennifer| 1 replyI just did the 303 trick and got a very polite, apologetic person who put me on their do-not-call list. I think I got on it by giving to the Democratic Congressional Committee.
- Caller: Telefund
- laurai think the do not call option is 304
- CR| 3 repliesIt doesn't matter who they are. I'm on the Do Not Call list and they are calling too late at night. I do believe in supporting charities, but NEVER by phone.

- jaLike others said they are soliciting funds for progressive causes. I called the number and at the end of the call it said to enter "304" (not 303 - they may have changed the option) to remove your number from the calling list.

- Pamela| 9 repliesI have worked at the Los Angeles Telefund office and can assure you that we do mark clients as "Do Not Call" when they request it, but that would only apply to that specific charity or political organization, so if you give to more than one organization, you would receive calls about them as well.
Please be kind to the callers, though. It's a hard and very low-paying job that the callers do out of their own passion for the causes and their commitment to a better world... it's not easy to be yelled at under those circumstances! - hspurginI have been getting 6-8 calls a day from Telefund, which I have always let ring through to VM and no message is ever left. I give to multiple causes but not by phone solicitation. This is my business line and it makes me nuts. I read through comments here and decided to finally answer and ask to be taken off the list. The man who answered was polite and respectful, and said my name would be taken off. I will be pleased if this is the case. Tomorrow will tell!
- Caller: Telefund
- PG| 1 replyI did call the office and they were courteous and said my name would be removed from the database.
