got the call 2x today - silly music (then googled and ended here).  Scam time i believe. Especially on Thanksgiving

I keep getting calls from this number... At first I would answer and there was some jerk pretending to have a funny foreign accent, but later, they just kept hanging up... Now I don't answer it and when/if they leave a message, it is usually unintelligible...

Who is this doing the calling, and why???

Showed up as "International" on my mother's land phone.  No one answered the phone.  I tried calling back a couple of times and was put on hold and listened to the same music.  No one ever picked up and I stopped waiting.

when my GF calls from philipines.. it come to me thru this number..i dont know why..caled that number bak but techno music...

They keep calling me and won't answer when I call back.

i answered the call and actually it was from a friend using a calling card. The call was from Houston, Tx to my phone. When actually 214 is in the Dallas area.

I missed the call and when called it said wait while your call is connected...but kept giving some sort of ring tone

listen everyone-  don't anwser it.  its not from someone you're waiting to hear from.  Your number had floated into their database to call.  Its from Mexico.  Don't CALL it back unless you want to PAY for a long dist call to listen to Music and a Spanish guy who doesn't care who you are.  Maybe they will try to sell you something or its part of a spam to get personal info to spam you more.  Luckly my PC picks up my calls and I can have these numbers blocked so if the number calls the PC just puts the call into a fax tone and hungs up after a second.

got a call from the same number saying I won a cellphone.  They knew my name and address.

I got a call from this number and they told me that they were someone with the government and they told me that they have $1,000.00 waiting for me to be transfer into my bank account but I didn't trust them so I gave them a false account number.

I received a call from this number and it was someone trying to get a $100.00 donation for the Rocky Boy Indian reservation in Montana. He said the donation was for the people who were loosing their homes because they couldn't afford their house payments. I just hung up!

I received a call  from that number RIGHT NOW at 1:42pm I have a Verizon Service.I had received the call but nobody talked... so I called back... I called and then it said "please wait while your call is connected"   and then some techno music... but then after a few minutes I got bored and hanged up. ....It was really weird.

Hey! They called to my house also, it was on Dec, 14 at 1:20 pm. Appears like international call. Hijos de su madre!! Que quieren?

I received 38 missed calls at my place of work from 214-586-0999.  I called the number back and it put me in a que [with hold music] and then transferred me.  The weird part---I put me through to a woman's personal cell phone number in Dallas, TX.  She said that the caller id on her end showed a 214 number.

This is apparently a VOIP-PSTN Bridge # typically used by international VOIP calls. I get calls from our overseas contractors with this caller ID #. I guess it can also be used by scam artists or spam, so just be careful as usual.

It was my brother-in-law (Army Special Forces) calling from Afghanistan.  He was using a phone he described as an "international cell phone" issued to his unit.

I got a call from them, and it was to comfirm my order of 1100 gold in world of warcraft. was a speedy delivery after I got the call, just had to fly to ratchet :D

These guys called me and said they had my application for the KKK which I have nothing to do with and don't agree with. I told them they were crazy and hung up the phone. They called me back seventeen minutes later, threatening mine and my wife's lives. I told them to come on and get it. They must not have much of a life. I got thr same techo music when I called back. They will be caught!!!!!!!

I got a  call from this number several times over a couple weeks.  I called it back and told whoever answered to stop calling me.  I only got through to someone after several minutes of tehcno music.  The person on the other end seemed confused as to why I was calling back.  I also reported the calls to my phone provider and was given a way to block that number from coming through.  If you have comcast phone, hit star 60 and you can enter the number so that it will be blocked.  If you don't have comcast you may want to try calling your provider and seeing if they have ways of blocking/reporting the number.
