I called myself from my Skype number and this number with the name "International" showed up on my caller ID. Normally my Skype name shows up with an "Out Of Area" number.

Got a bunch of calls from the same number today, but no one answered when I picked up. I called back one time and heard the techno music, so I hung up. Then I got another call and a voice said: "Hello please from Nigeria, please call back, please please..." I immediately hung up. From the crackling of the voice I think it was either Skype or some VoIP over a low bandwidth connection.

I have been receiving MANY calls from 214-586-0999 in all hours of the day & night.  One came through at 4:00 am.  I don't pick up, & immediately after, I get another call from 233-242-0638.  Can anyone help me in getting these phone calls to stop?  Yesterday, I received 4 calls one right after the other from these 2 numbers.

I too gt a call from this number an I live in Dallas. However it is an over seas pharmacy trying to get me to buy prescription medication. No thanks.

This number registered on my work phone. How are scammers authorized to get these numbers within the company?

Got call from 214-586-0999.  Wondering who thisd call came from?

This appeared in the most recent issue of 2600 in a letter to the magazine. I called it and also heard the 'please wait' message followed by techno. However, I waited long enough (after the song ended?) to have it transfer to what sounded like the background noise of a small office or apartment. I heard several distinct voices but they were not distinct enough to make out words.

Obviously this is some kind of VoIP endpoint.

so i wake up at 10 oclock and i didnt no the number. so i call it back and i also got some crazy techno music. so i went online and found this website. i called it back and after 5 in a half miniutes it was this weird robot voice and it was all scratchy. very strange i thought.

this person called my sister first..then seconds later, i received the phone call too..oh my god, this is horrible

I received a call from this same number. At 4:45 a.m. . A guy with an accent that I could barely understand; told me I won some sort of Chevron/Yahoo lottery. To check my e-mail to find out how to claim. I thought this was strange and started researching this number. I even tried to call it back and got music. I ended up hanging up. Then I found this site. How do we find out who this is? I found that the provider of this number was Ibfa Acquisition Co. Llc.

Wife called me in Illinois from her personal cell phone in Toronto and this number showed up on my caller ID, I called her back and told her about this information after googling the number. It showed as an International call to number below......214-586-0999. So have I been hacked or has she been hacked on her cell now

My wife calls me at work...and usually our own phone number pops up on my caller ID...then lo and behold..this number pops up 214 586 0999...we do have VOIP/Internet phone.....how and why this changed I dont know

I got a call from this number 214-586-0999 and some guy with an accent said some nasty stuff so I hung up on him and then tried to call back so that I could let him know that I got his number and when I called back it just plays music

I got this call at 9:50 PM. It came up as International and 214-586-0999. I figured it was a wrong number, but when I answered no one was there. I called it back and got the computer message and then just techno music. I live in the Dallas area so at first I thought it was one of those cell phones that lets you pick music instead of ringing. I hung up after a few minutes of listening and then typed in the number and found this site. Very strange.

I received call from this number. I picked up and it disconnected immediately. When called back, same thing happened as to other people. A music started playing, then I disconnected the call.

I just got 3 calls in a row--first one did not come up on caller ID, but it was fax machine. Second time was 214-586-0999, International, fax again.
Third time I just picked up the receiver and hung up so I wouldn't have to listen to the answering machine.
Is there any way to stop the fax calls? we use this line for faxes, but don't leave it hooked up. The 3am calls are the most irritating...

Same [***] with me...got this call twice this morning...i called back and same techno music for few minutes..then i hung up. Weird

I also got the missed call from this number 214-586-0999.  When I called back, techno music so i disconnected.

I am at work and just recieved a call from the same number.  They claimed to be from the social ssecurity admin and that I was chosen to recieve tax refund money $500.00 a month for the next 6 months because I had no criminal record and paid my taxes as I was supposed to.  Hello first clue, the social admin does not give out tax refund money.  Not to mention they were of middle eastern descent and claimed to have names such as Susan and Brad, Brad being Susan's superviser.  I asked for a number to call them back to verify this was not a scam with my local SSA and they said I could have the phone number and website after I verified my social security number, address, and bank account info.  I insisted on calling them back and and they just hung up.  I called the SSA and made a fraud report.  THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION
