Got a call from this number early this morning.  I missed the call but kept getting other calls from a number that did not register or said not data.  When we answered the calls no one was there or they would hang up.  Decided to google it.  Will check the Fed sites and report it to them.

I have an overseas friend who calls from her Skype phone to my Skype computer connection. If I'm not at my computer, Skype forwards the call to my cell phone. Usually, the call connects as "unknown" or as "00001234" but sometimes it connects as "214-586-0999". I suspect this number is one of several default numbers that display whenever people call your phone from a voice-over IP computer connection (using Skype, Yahoo, MSN, etc.). If I call the number back, I get a message to "wait while I connect your call" and then all I hear is techno music playing. I don't think there's anything sinister about this number.

Caller said he wanted to take to me about timeshares. When I told him I was on the Do Not Call list, he started cussing me out and hung up before I could reply. I hit redial and got the "this number is not a working number" recording. Sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from this same number.

I didn't answer it cause I didn't know who it was. He left a voice mail I couldn't understand but he said "[***]" about 15 seconds in, I just erased it from that point on. So yea, whoever is doing this, we aren't interested, nor will any of us be stupid enough to give you our credit card information / bank account information / money in any form.

Don't be stupid, think before you give ANYONE your information.

Oh, and another thing:

1) I don't use Skype, so I dont know how this person got a hold of my number
2) If anyone else somehow gets my number, know that I will not answer it unless I know who they are.
3) Most people don't give their credit card information over the phone unless its to a trusted company, like their Bank.

i got the call today, but i didn't answer.
he left a strange message for 23 second.. he said that he gonna be front my door on july 23...  !!?

I missed the call yesterday while i was at work.  I checked the number and became very curious about it.  I went to google, typed in the number and came across this site!

First time to see this number on my caller ID.  Didnt bother answering it because we know no one who's number would come up "International" as it did on the callerID.  Good to know its just BS.  Will block it now & be done with it :)

Tried calling my in-laws on a Verizon cell phone.  I was in Minnesota.  It showed up on their caller ID as 214-586-0999.  Every 15-20 seconds while we were talking we heard an eerie voice saying "Lisa" and then some deranged sounding laughter.  I tried called back and it happened again.  I tried a third time and the real number came up on the caller ID (an Iowa number) and then it was ok. Googled the number and got here...strange...

Very upset about getting these telemarketing calls at work.

Got a call from this number. Did not answer either time, but second one left a voicemail sayingn they were some electric company and could be at my house in a few hours. WTF?

My friend from South Africa Called me from this number last year, but I did'nt get to the phone, after trying the number back it dosn't seem to work, I wish she'ed try again lol...

It's actually someone calling using a telephone card.  Telephone cards use a VOIP exchane.  I get that number when my father-in-law calls me from Brasil.  First time I got the call, freaked me out.  I thought "wth is he doing in Dallas?!" LOL
