Just got a call from this number and chose not to answer...glad I checked this site as I will not answer when/if they call back.
Phone co=Cingular/AT&T or whatever they call themselves today;-)

I think it is the number for a phone service provider... my mom called me and that is what showed up.... i asked her if she had a new phone service provider (she had a goofy cheap one before and seeks them out) and she said yes.

I got a call from this # 214-586-0999 caller Id says "International" This call came in at 11:33 pm on 3-11-08. (to my home phone #, provider is Centurytel) I have an unlisted #. I called back, and same thing as others, a recording and then funky music. I hung up after 2 minutes.

It's Sunday at about 2PM. I returned home from lunch and found that I had received six calls from this number between 11:58AM and 12:26PM. Wow, they're persistent. No messages were left. Due to information that others have provided on this site, I did not call the number back. This is a great site. Thanks.

We got a call from this number saying that we had a tax return coming and would recieve $300.00 for the next 6 months .

These people are trying to reach me on a daily basis. It showes up as internationl. What can be done to stopo this?

I got a call from this number, I was not their that time so I saw the missed call and when I tried calling the number, heard some music cound continuosly playing and I finally disconnect the line. Next some 3 to 4 times I tried the same and got the music playing like the same.

got this call numerous times. it would ring 3 times and stop. If I answer nothing. Call it back, get a recorded message and then listen to crappy techno music. Also for some reason got a private caller ID from some real bad conenction, all static and some foreign accented guy. Also then got a 3014777 number which I could hear voices and noise in background.

My GF from the uk uses a voip phone for international calling like skype or something and it comes up with this number on my caller id

They've call me three times today and every time I answered it and they have hung up. I called the number 214-586-0999 and a recorded message said "please wait while your call is connected". I hung up at that point. I don't intend to answer the next time they call.

I got call from this number, caller ID International and the person was from India. Look like local phone number, when call back, weird voices over the phone

This number is a relay / repeater number for incoming International calls. My parents just called me from Germany and this "International" 214# came up on the caller ID. My parents use Tmobile overseas to call back to the states. Again this is incoming International calls. Hope this helps. If you are not expecting an overseas call just ignore the call...either someone has misdialed or someone is randomly calling state side phone numbers to attempt a scam....ie Nigerian or Russian scams.

was told I was to receive free medical insurance. wanted to give me an number
told them I already had insurance. they had information on my social security stating they knew my social security was going to my bank. they asked for my bank name, I told them I would not give any personal information and they hung up. they just called again while I was typing this it is 4/21/08 at 2:02 pm this is the third time today. I told them on the second call to take me off their list. They did not.

I fell hook line and sinker! Says he loves me and is stuck in Africa and needs money to get home. Good thing I'm broke as a joke, or I probably would have done it. Seemed very sincere. God, I'm tired of falling for this crap!

This number called I didn't answer first time, then the next time I had different number and it was my brother calling from South Africa on his gap year. he said the first number was him using a phone card :) So if you know anyone abroad on their travels its likely to be them, and if they're calling to late in the evening remind them of global timezones!! lol (FYI he purchased the phonecard in the United Kingdom)

I continue to receive a call on my cell phone from this number.  it is someone with a foreign accent/middle eastern/ saying they are from the US government.  I have advised them strongly to not call my phone ever again and on 2 occassions they started using vulgar language, cussing at me and the other times they hung up.

They (Indian voice) claimed as I had paid my taxes on time I could get my $1000 rebate, after laughing and hanging up I guess I missed the part about how they would need my bank details to pay the money to me.....

I was on the other line with my boss and got this call on my caller ID so I called it back and got retro music.. WHAT IS THIS NUMBER TO ?

they call my husband telling him we qualify for a $2500 grant to be deposited into our account tomorrow. when my husband replied that we have no bank account they said to just give them a friend or families account number and they will deposit it them in theirs.
