Received message on the 24th. Wasn't expecting a delivery so sounded a bit odd. Text sent by +447909643321 telling me to phone +23222270682. Tried phoning the +232 number but call failed and text the +44 number for more details-no response. Couldn't figure out what the point of it was - thought if it's a scam they would either charge large amount to return the call (though it failed),  they would ask for address/bank details if I had got through or there was a virus planted along the way. Sounds like it's the first one though can't confirm

I've literally just had a missed call from this number.  I haven't called it back, and suggest that if you get called, you do the same.  Sounds very dodgy.

I have no idea if the two are connected, but I also had a text the other morning (6:40 on a Sunday, I wasn't impressed!) saying that I had an urgent delivery, and I should call international parcel deliveries back on the number given (which i can't remember now, but i posted on this site then!)  They probably are, so don't call back!

Just had a missed call from this number, googled it and found this site.  Good work everyone!

same happened to me, rang for 3 seconds then hung up. Definatly a scam and also connected to the same people who put a card through your letterbox saying
"a parcel couldnt be delivered, please call this number to arrange colletion or delivery"
ringing the number on the card charges the caller £15 just like returning the missed call.

Had a couple of texts from +447876247923 saying '!!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call NOW on +23222270685 For Delivery Tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries'. Then had missed calls on my mobile from +23222270687 which I hadn't heard ring but going by what's being said here it doesn't ring for long anyway. I'm not in the habit of ringing back unknown missed calls myself but luckily the text came through first and as I knew I wasn't expecting a delivery I just ignored it suspecting it was a scam of some sort. Pleased this website has been set up, it's a big help. Thanks

I just had a missed call from that number while I was at the gym. Obviously I didn't recognize the number and I could see it was foreign so I wasn't gonna call them back. I bet some people fool for it though. They'd be better of with a service like vonage where you can pretend to be somewhere you're not.

Yup, just got this myself with a 3 second ring and hang-up. No text though. Sad that they're making money out of this.

all the numbers used are international premium rate (revenue share) numbers.  The regulators (UK/Austrian) know or could easily find out who is behind this fraud.

Mmmm, somebody (or something?) called me from (+23) 222270857, which is a prime number according to the internet..., anyway as far as I know, I've not got any mates in Sierra Leone, so won't call back...
My mate just had his phone nicked so for a moment I thought it was him on a new number...

Don't call back to such numbers, if you are Vodafone customer then dial 198, provide them such numbers and they will block them.
