They are calling my cell phone as well.  If you try to do anything about it they hang up.  I have my number on a no call list for Canada; I tried to register for a no call list for the US, but since I have a Canadian area code it rejects my request.  International cooperation is required.  Cross border harassment needs to be stopped.

Just got a call from these losers -- automated message tells you to act quickly on a limited time offer to fix your credit.
When I spoke to the "real live person" after pushing 1 and told him to put me on their "do not call" list, HE hung up on ME without a word!

Got a call from that same number and I talked the hot voiced girl into some really hot phone sex.  She then talked me into to paying her so I took their credit card offer with an interest rate of 69% on the first purchase which was her charge for getting me all worked up.

so the DNC list is irrelevant.  I'm not saying Canadians aren't paying them to do their dirty work... just the origins are elsewhere.

I would suggest all Cdns lobby their MP's, MPP's and every other government official they can find to have these calls blocked by your provider at the source.   It wouldn't take too much time for Bell etc. to set up an auto blocker system for invalid #'s... but then they wouldn't get their $$ for using the block call list option LOL.

I work from home and noticed the VOIP calls are coming much more frequently and they are much more innovative in the naming and #'ing of what is shown on call display.

Robocall about some lady who's running for the local school board being evil as hell or something.  Didn't answer but they left a voicemail.

Got a call from this number 10 minutes ago, and they left a voice mail. Recorded message to vote for McCain/Palin.  No Joke.  ARGH !!!!!

This was a political robocall from the Republican National Committee, with a recording of Hillary Clinton saying that Obama wasn't ready to be President.  
Boy, I'll be glad when this election is over!!!!!

They just called our house at 10:15 am on a Monday morning. Ordinarily, they wouldn't catch us home, but we're all home sick today. Glad I didn't answer it. Thanks for the information!

I received a call from 1-234-567-8900, the automate voice saying' calling from Bell local company,just want to review your credit reference, i need you to provide your credit card number, expiry date and your date of birth on handy, after that then press 1.i knew it was a scam so I hung up

I've gotten a call from these jerks ever half hour for the last hour and a half. The first time I was still asleep so I just looked and saw that I didn't recognize the number. It wasn't until the second time that I realized how odd the number was. Knew there had to be something up so I googled it and found this great site. And then I got a third phone call, this time they left a message saying they were some pro-life place and that I should vote for McCain. I don't know how they got my number, and since it's so obviously a scam I don't know why they are starting to leave political message recordings. I feel these a**holes are more clever than most, which is why they're still around regardless of their illegal practices. Sad thing is some people actually fall for or they wouldn't keep doing it.

Keep getting these calls and can't find a way to stop them. Today I finally pressed 1 and when the guy answered I asked what company was it and he hung up

It looks like this may be a "phantom number" that some robocall uses to show up on the caller ID.

Wouldn't the dem. party love to know who had this # first !!Just got a call asking for my support for mike givens for some missouuri seat. Said I could call the Dem. headquarters to have my # removed. WHY the election is tomorrow?

These people keep on ringing the phone and when I answered they hanged up....

This call was reminding me to go vote.  It wasn't clear which party they were supporting.  There was a mention of immigrants at some point, but apparently I didn't hear the first part of the pitch.
