your david shade  story is the same I just heard in the last 2 weeks from david young from Match.com.   He has an 18yr old daughter named Marilynn.. Told me he owned his owned internet networking company out of Virginia Beach Fl... traveled to West Africa to set up a cyber cafe, and we would meet when he got home. Looking back at all the emails he sent - very loving, very "this is destiny " "I thought I would never love again"etc..I realize now, he never used my name.He used pet names like Cutie, beautiful or my dear.
I fell hook line and sinker for this, although I never gave money - nor had he asked for any. His loving emails stopped once I told him in a casual email that as a single mom, I was struggling with money.
I am shocked, humiliated and BEYOND angry.
Does anyone have a picture of him to match what mine is?

I just started emailing this guy from Match.com also. tells me his name is david young.  He has an 18yr old daughter named Marilynn and lives in Virginia Beach.  Says he is a computer networker and when he gets back from a business trip to Africa setting up a cyber cafe, we will meet. i didn't get that same story, but was sent  very loving emails that any women would fall for, he never used my name either.  always called me "cutie" or "my dear" or "beautiful.

Okay, an hour after posting this message below, this guy named   David Young emailed me from "Africa" with news of his terrible day where he lost all his cash, travellers checks don't work and embassy is no help.  I blocked all his emails before it could go any farther.  I have contacted match.com with all this information in hopes they can stop him

Hello ladies!  I too am someone who wrote to Clovis Theo.  The name didn't make much sense to me, as it sounded like his last name should be his first name.  Last night he tried the stock certificate scandal on me too.  Wanted to put my name on some documents.  I said I'd have my attorney review the papers.  He responded with I've already checked it our with an attorney here.  He's very smooth with his words, but on a phone he can barely speak English.  I'll be reporting him today.  He has left match, just before he left for Dubai.  Any of this sound familiar?  I wrote him back and said I wanted nothing to do with his business, and to use a relative's name.  So glad you all came on here to post about people.  I'm going to check out another person just for kicks!  Thanks again, Penny

I guess I am Clovis's October attempt at a scam.  Things just didn't feel right from the start.  So glad you posted all this here, or I could have been hurt.  Thank you!  I posted another message about him on here as well.  Thank again.  Off to check our someone else.  Learned about Michael John on here too.  I booted him months ago.  I hope I don't find this other guy is a jerk!  At least I didn't end up in Dubai!

He was Clovis Theo on Match.com to me.  He cancelled his membership when he left for Dubai.  I read about him here and shut him down.  Jerk.  The picture also bugged me.  He did not look 62 at all.  He looked 40 like you said.  He's not very good at what he does is he?

He probably cannot be caught because I am pretty sure he is in Nigeria this whole time.  He has several different names bu the story is basically the same.  When I talked to him his name was Robert Moore.  He traveled to the UK, to Italy and Dubai.  His mother died at least 10 times since I started talking to him.  She died when he talked to many other women.  He had a sister too over there.  He needed money to pay for the Funeral.  Changes his name like the wind and story may seem a little different but it is still the same.  He is this rich business man who gets caught out of the country needing money for some reason...GIVE ME A BREAK.  I confronted him on it and he finally fessed up and I even got to see him on Web Cam and he is definitely Nigerian.  The minute you hear the voice when they call you can tell.  Good loving grammar in emails but then when you get to talk to them on IM they suddenly forgot how to spell, forget to use punctuation and all....He told me that he had 10 fake wives who he has gotten money from but that he was addicted to me and even wanted me to help him in his scamming... I turned him in but nothing ever happened so he is probably still out there scamming....

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!   He emailed me and called me from Feb to Aug 2013. The picture he sends is not him. I wish I had seen this site a lot sooner. He will tell you he is sick, lost his passport, can't get home. Before he stopped with me because I wouldn't send anything he had a heart attack. He should. He will tell you his mother is ill in Italy, she died with me on March 7, 2013. Cancell any subscriptions you have with match or block all phone numbers and emails.

Suppose to be working for Premier Investment International. Claimed to live in Belen MS. Tracked his phone had a Kentucky number! I was hit by 2 of them at the same time! ! So funny that when I confronted the first one...Larry hasn't contacted me since. Suppose to be in England on business to return July 18.
The following are 3 letters of about 10 I received. He has not ask anything of me! Maybe he's running!!

I heard this morning that my mother is seriously sick. I got a call from my Aunt (Her sister) telling me that my mum is seriously sick and in the hospital. OMG!!!!!!!!  Word for Word exactly from Clovis Theo. Do Not Respond to this person, he is not who he says he is. The next thing you will hear is his mother passed away. She passed away on March 7,2013 with me. All exact letters he wrote to me. All he is doing is changing his name as he keeps himself on Match.com. It's really sad to think there are people out there like this.

OK ladies he is at it again. I have had contact with mrand162@yahoo.com that was through chemistry.com that got bizarre right away then this past week with Donald Royce different name but same story about premier investments he was through match.com. who and how do you report these people to? Another was Chery Michael Jacobs..his story is from Holland with dead wife also very passionate emails...god be careful out there!

Hi, this is where I reported my guy. Filing a Complaint with the IC3....Mine was name of Robert Moore but regardless of the name the game is the same and so are the letters.  He just changes his name to keep track of the women he has on the hook so to say.  He is definitely Nigerian and he will continue to do this until we smarten up and stop believing this crap.  I learned one thing, as soon as they hook you to talk to them by IM, they cancel their membership and probably only got  on there for the free time anyway.  He then goes back to the same site with a new name to get more women on the hook.  Also has different names on different sites but same story. I learned that if someone contacts you and they are not close enough for you to meet somewhere for coffee it is not worth the hurt and pain you get from these fools.  They do not care how old you are or what you look like as long as you have money and may be willing to help them out.  As soon as you send them some, they are either gone or asking for more. They will continue to ask you for money until you are broke or until you finally give up.  They have no conscience and their game is only for the money.

He is now using the name Antonio Mario.  Claims to be living in Richmond Virginia. He is pretty good at coming up with background that is just enough to hold together.  Contacted me through Match. com.  If he put half the effort into the truth as he does with his fabrications, would be quite the success.  After 2 weeks of correspondence, his life started to sound like "the perils of Pauline".  

His English hasn't improved, I think there are several writers. He has been sending me same garbage for 3 weeks. Interesting that mum is being buried both Wed. and Thurs. I stopped responding as soon as Mum bit the dust.  A little too far fetched and the way he announced her death was idiotic. I guess that for someone supposedly involved in international finance, he was suddenly caught "short of cash" for the hospital bill!  Interesting, I only travel with access to additional funds in case of an emergency but then again, I am not a Fund Consultant!  Well, it has been entertaining and I hope someone gets to burn this group soon.

Would you bellieve Mr. Wonderful just called me ten minutes ago.  I told him that he is being reported all over the states and that he was going to  have to find another country to find new women to screw over.

Anyway, my name is Magdaleno Martin Jefferson  .I was married to Angela Maya Jefferson for 26 years and had a son Michael Jefferson who died in an auto accident with my father. My mother is an Italian woman while my father has Spanish ancestry. My father is late while my mother presently lives with my her sister in Italy. I relocated to Kent United Kingdom when I secured the Job but only worked with them for 9 years before resigning from the job. They called me after two years and asked me if I can work with them as a Consultant Fund Manager from my home that it will only require me to work with them for 3 months, return to US and spend 3 months before coming back to work for another three months with them and that will be all for the year .I took the job and started enjoying it when I found out that it is the only thing that I can do at this point in my life.
I am a man with no criminal records or hidden skeleton. People say that I have German accent which may be due to my long stay abroad. I am a simple man that is comfortable with what I have and okay with what I have achieved in life. I am a man that has all that I need in life but lacks just one essential thing which is love.
