He called me in tucson arizona today asking me to put down 70k on solar panels for my home and I live in an apartment. There is no reason that a man should go around unchecked thinking he is the talented Mr. Ripley. We should ban together or at least do what we can in our area to report him as an illegal person who is scamming people everywhere he goes. Either that or scamming people from a certain location and not a lot of people have confirmed that they have met him in person or have taken a picture of him or her. Honestly he is no genius, we can all tell he is scamming us and that all he wants is some kind of resource from us so that he can go on living his life of leisure. So, I know I am going to go through the proper channels to report him and make sure that my authorities know in my area that if he comes around here is has got A LOT to answer for because all I have seen on this page is him thinking he is being extremely secretive and discreet about the way he scams hundreds of people out of their money. He probably owes enough money to be put away in life in prison not considering the amounts of charges that would also keep him in for life in prison. Take a picture, report it immediately, track and ip address, report an alias. Do not allow this guy to continue befuddling all these people like he is some kind of mastermind. He is an in idiot that doesn't understand the consequences of his actions. As many people as we can ban together to report his guys wrongdoing database this man will pay dearly for what he has done. Not to mention emotionally and physically stealing cash for inspecting old people, people looking for love and in my case people looking for savings on their homes, which is as low if not one level lower than child molesting on anyone's radar. And to people who temporarily have the funds because of a pension or refinance of their house or a loan for their house or an inheritance and this man moves in like a vulture and steals from the absolute weakest, the dying of our society in order to make unearned money. Before I ramble on I would like to say that his man is awful and deserves to be in prison with men who have killed and who have raped and who have child molested by the fact that he is preying on emotional money most of the time. Now ppl stand up use your money wisely and capture this man and the money and emotions he has stolen from our hearts our souls our deaths and our poor! Stand Up . Most of what you what call this is cyber theft and the rest identity theft in the most foul of circumstances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all questons in my mind, I went online to find this man who has email message exchange with me for one week after I joined "Match".
I am so glad to see all your messages, I am going to quit "match", be happy it's just one week.
I might be the most stupid one to believe he has the deep feeling about me..., almost same story, 62, born in Italy, educated in German and Scottland, wife died 10 year ago, the only son and his father died in car accident..., work for Magellan Investments as fund manager..., he gave me 2 phone#s, both are not working #s, when he called me, but caller ID was blocked..., all these are huge question marks...., he called once, even he claimed he has German accent..., but being around globally, especailly I have a German boss, I can immediately tell he doesn't have German accent at all, that was Spenish accent (I was in Miami years)..., by the way, this time his name is Kelvin Mounts...
How scaring this is, when women are looking for love, we are so easy to be hurt by this type of scam, ladies, be carefull out there!!

I have enjoyed all these messages. He is certainly making his way through alot of women and hope everyone wises up. Sure hope no one falls for him. He started emailing me a couple of weeks. I suggested meeting face to face and interesting he is headed to the UK. Think his mother will die again. Be careful and try not to get fooled. Still going by Kelvin Mounts on match.com.

This is clearly either the same man scamming everyone or a group of men using the same story. I agree that his accent sounded spanish AND where he asked me to wire money was located just outside Madrid, I have also notified yahoo and match regarding this scamming but he keeps changing his name so it is difficult for them to locate him across sites. Let's continue to share the names/user names here so that others will not be scammed by this individual/group.
Interesting fact is that a few weeks ago Dr. Phil's investigators tracked down a scammer. Check out the show entitled "Falling in Love with a Fraud?" that aired on September 2, 2011 (drphil.com).

My sister and I came up with a list of questions to ask and if he didn't answer them. Talk about a shock! He is still emailing and doesn't realize everyone is comparing him. It's a shame we can't post the pictures. I have his phone number blocked. He sent 2 different ones. One is a 900 # where those are usually overseas numbers.

I joined match too and guess what I have the same person emailing me everyday. Now saying how he is in the uk and will be coming to see me cant live with me, blahblah I figured this person out with I read his wifes name was Angela Maya Mounts and realized some of his romantic passages were from Maya Angelos books. Be careful, everything matches to all of these other with the name of Kelvin Mounts. What a creep, I thought Match was going to be a safe place, I wish there was something that can be done with these people.

Sounds like the same pitch that was sent to me on match, com but I have had 3,I said 3!lol All on match.com.First a goodlooking guy working over seas in a army unionform,so handsome.Wrote long letters was the first sign, then said he really wanted to get to know me so on and so on.When I asked personal questions about his life schoo;,ex,kids etc. he never would reply only told me how special I was,lol give me a f--- break.I ended up tell match.com and sent him a love letter he'll never forget. My mama didn't raise no fool! Ladies don't fall for something that sounds to good to be true, most men are short to the point and talking on the internet is not in their nature they have other things on their minds!

Unbelievable!! I am corresponding with the same guy that everyone is talking about, I'm sure. Details: Gorgeous guy by the name of Magdaleno Emmanuel Eric, 55 years old. He lives in Fresno and he works as a fund manager with Magellan Investment International. He was born in Palermo where his mother still lives (although I'm sure that she is near death as we speak) and he has a daughter who lives in Italy. He's very vague about the daughter. He went to school in Germany and graduate school in Scotland, and he is a widower. And he has "fallen completely in love" with me in 2 weeks of emailing. Sunday night, he left for London where he is in meetings for 10 days, but upon his return, he will fly directly here to meet me finally. Of course, I'm sure that his mother's death will prevent his arrival. But I won't be informed of that since I plan to email him right away and tell him that the scam with me is over. Sadly, he has my private email address and my phone number. And I met him on Match.com.
I'll have to say that I was pretty bowled over, but I never really fell for him completely because everything happened too quickly, his accent made me think that he couldn't possibly have made it through grad school in Scotland, and nothing ever completely fell into place.
How in the world could we catch this man? Surely there is legal recourse if we could find him! There is absolutely no telling what havoc he has wreaked in women's lives.

I stop emailing him since 10/03 found this group ladies online, but he kept email me daily, and telling how much he misses me...(after one week??). I was told he is going to UK on 8th, not 6th, for 10 days, then he want to stop by in HK to meet me before going back to US ---- he can dream about it..., I will never reply to his emials......
I have hidden my profile on "match" even signed up for 6 months, deleted messager, just need to learn one more thing to block his email on yahoo.
I don't believe online dating any more, Ladies, be carefull out there!!!

I never gave him my main email, only one that I can delete. Only would give the first name and that I lived in the city. Gave him a line back. I was too leary. I am waiting until the mother dies again and I am going to tell him, leave her in the grave this time. Found a site that tells all about him but not give him the site. He is a definitely a scammer! He can't even keep his stories straight.

Hi, all. Although I am no longer a member on Match.com, I wrote to them yesterday and reported on this person - the profile name that he had when he emailed me, his email address where I was emailing, him, etc. I exchanged several emails with their Customer Care and I just received another email from them. They said that they "had taken appropriate action" based on the information that I had provided. They also said that they could not discuss another member's status, but that I should be happy with the results.
I hope that no one minds that I directed the Match.com team to this site so that they could see for themselves the damage that he has done already. I fear that he will not have to pay for the damage that he has done, but perhaps he will no longer be able to do it on Match.com at least.

Ditto. He is posing now as Chad Kreps. Exact same story on Oct 8, 2011. Before that he was Paul Whitener, posing as an antique businessman who's mom recently died. He said he was in Crestview Florida his grammar was awful and it seemed he was middle eastern. He also acted immediately like he was in love with me. Very odd. Then this man named Chad typed in the same style, incorrect English. Creep!!!!!!

Tell him that Jane says "HI" and that I am sorry to hear that his mother has died again. The next item will be that it is his childs birthday and he would like you to send her/him a token. At this point he will provide you with the address for money order and it will be in Spain. I was going to set-up a "sting" at the location when he came to pick up the money and then decided...I have far better things to do with my time. Instead I said that when he returned to USA we could shop together and send her something much more meaningful. Then all of a sudden when he is on his way to airport he is mugged...needs money for ticket. Ha...I told him to "phone a friend". I stopped the game here. I hope all that read these messages learn from our encounters.

- LAM replies to kris| 6 repliesI have emailed with this person for the last 42 days. Same exact story. Investment Fund Manager with Capital Investment Fund, after a week in a half he wanted to meet and I was supposed to meet him and thn received an mail that he to fly to UK or an emergency meeting. While there his mother fell ill, he flew to Palermo to see her, came back to Kent then she died and he had to fly back to Palermo for funeral, then he had to go to Dubai to meet with a client. On and on and he was going to invest his own money and start his own business which meant selling of his shares in Capital Fund and then flying back to states to be with me. Only things kept getting delayed and the stocks needed to be sold etc. I kept getting this uneasy feeling I would eventually be asked for money as I had been with 4 other men from Match.com but nothing had happened until last Thursday and he kept trying to get a hold of me and I had a bad feeling. I texted him that I needed to have time to myself and yet he kept calling and texting. It seemed weird that he was so insistent on getting to me. I finally called him and he told me that he was sending me an email. He sent a long email telling me that he was a strong man who never wanted to lean on anyone but it was a time when he needed to lean on me for help and he needed $30,000 to complete his transaction and then we could have a future together. I emailed him back that I couldn't do it. He then called. I told him again on the phone and he said it wasn't about money it was about us and the future he wanted. That was the problem -- it was about money and it was about his future. Not mine. I refused and, of course he disappeared. The name he used for his communication with me was Harrison Antonio Sabastino. His daughter signed him up for the sight, wife died 10 years ago and he hadn't seen anyone since he saw me on the sight in the 9th hour before his subscription expired. Father and Son died in a car crash. Now he has no one but you, and if you remind him, his daughter. Very handsome -- sent me lots of pictures. It is humiliating to feel that only scam artists are on these sights when all you are looking for is a nice honest man who would be interested in meeting someone like yourself. Sad, but I feel better knowing that I'm no crazy. I'd like to know where I can go as well. Fortunately, I didn't give him money, but the first guy I met on match I did give money to. He had the nerve to contact me again a few weeks ago to tell me he is back and on match again but I don't know what name he is using on match.com

This was current since Thursday. Maybe he has killed them at this point, but possible he hasn't. - Lori replies to LVLadyHe did the same thing to me as well. I was dumb and gave him my name -- he didn't ask for any money. I had an uneasy feeling but feel for it anyway. Knew this past Thursday things just weren't right and didn't want to talk to him so I could think things through. He was pushing because now it had come down to needing to open an offshore account and since my name was on the documents as the "investor" he needed me to open the account BUT it would cost $30,000. I knew the instant I received this information it was ALL WRONG and then when I googled the offshore Credit Union that was asking for the $30,000 to open the account and they didn't exist it was over. He got so angry when I refused to invest such a small amount to get millions. Yeah Right. I thank God that I didn't fall into the trap of giving him the money. Sad that he has been able to get away with all of this.

I was so excited when I read your profile; I really need a woman that is passionate and caring. Some one that is ready to spend the rest of her life with me. Someone that can accept me with my joking attitude, people say that I play with everything except my work. But what they don’t know is that I can play with my work but not with my relationship or someone that I love .That is what I know that I can’t play with. This is why I prefer people that will appreciate my humorous attitude. I am fun to be with and believe in the saying, ‘the older the wine, the better” so I don’t believe in age been a hindrance in a relationship. Let’s talk and get to know more about us better.
I like seeing soccer, movies and listening to music and dinning out most times. I like going to the beach. Am currently attached to Premier investment international as a Senior Consultant Fund Manager, but would want to be self employed in near future.
Tell me more about yourself, your family and what you do for a work? Although i dont date your age but i guess i will try to know if it will work.- Call type: Text message

- Anonym replies to Mkay| 8 repliesThis guy first contacted me on match a week ago. He's now calling himself Pablo Luciano, and asked immediately to go off of Match onto his private email because the membership his daughter bought for him was expiring THAT VERY DAY! Same story: widowed 10 years, daughter Sofer lives in Italy with grandmother, father and son killed in auto accident, etc. Works as investment fund manager for Capital Investments Kent England. Sent me several photos of someone, doubt it was him. Photos of his dog "Coach," and of him closing a big deal with "Investors" in Texas before leaving for UK to sign the contract. He hasn't asked for money yet, but it's only been a week. Can't we get this guy arrested?
- Vicki1944 replies to Anonym| 4 repliesI don't believe it is just one man who is doing all this damage. While on match.com, I had six men contact me, and all wanted money. One was supposedly with Vanguard International and the other with Capital Investments as fund managers. I still believe, as commented before, that there is a ring of men who are targeting older retired women for their money. I have been on date.com and while none has asked for money, at least ten have asked to contact them via text, phone or personal e-mail even though I put in my profile I would not use the above forms of communications with someone I did not know. It is very frustrating. Guess I might try cupid.com next.
