Caller with Indian accent called,
I asked if I had called him.
He said yes and he was calling back.
I advised that he was a lair and hung up.

Selling MS windows.

Received a call from them today. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code or the number, which is standatd practice for me. I called them back and the lovely CG voice said the number was disconnected.

I looked the number up and found this site. WhitePages said the number couldn't be found in their records.

Received phone call from an Indian person (I am from India so I know the accent, but believe me this person is bad apple). He started to talk to me regarding computer problem that I am having and asked me that he can help me solve. He said he is calling from Microsoft. It sounded fishy so told him to hang up and do not call again. He said "I will keep calling you everyday 5 times and will not stop".
I just hang up.

Has called several times telling me he is with a department of Microsoft and my computer is at risk.

An individual speaking poor English phoned, claiming to be from MICROSOFT, and that my computer was infested with "major problems" and that she wanted to help me fix it. Caller id said she was calling from 288-918-6555. She called before 8 am, and even called back after I terminated the first call. This is a persistant scammer. The number does not appear to be a legitimate US number.

does anyone know how far you can go without then actually getting any inforemation from you?

Number shows as L1-288-918-6555, so is not a real number to reverse the call. They don't usually speak. Today, when I said "do not call this number again. Remove this number from your list". I got a reply, from very not- eastern accent (sounded at least North American) "shut up old lady".

10:20 he called me and ask me if i speak english. I said no and off the phone.

we just got a phone call from 288-918-6555 and we did not answer it. we had this call same # this time last year and jut hung up one them. East Indian accent.

Received this call this afternoon. Didn't answer, no message was left on voice mail.

Got the same call telling me that my computer was causing serious problems to other computers. I asked what computer and what OS Operating System he was talking about..   He almost begged to help me. I am the network administrator for a large company. I told him he was crazy and hung up

Same issue, Man with a heavy accent called from Windows saying my computer was at risk. I went along with him but ran a google search while he was talking and the Microsoft Website said they never call out to a customer unless a customer places a request to do so. I told him this, he said he was with Windows, not Microsoft. I laughed and hung up.
