I got a great one....this number called and said "Hi, because you are the perfect Bell customer you win".......I then hung up......funny thing is I have a Rogers phone.  Who falls for this crap....lol

Said "Bell Canada customer", "won a prize", "press 1". I'm not a Bell customer, so I knew it was a prank. Tried hitting 0 - Disconnected. Tried calling back - number not valid.

Yet another annoying scam.

female voice recorded message "hello since you are a preferred member or customer (i could not decipher what was said exactly) you are eligible to receive a special gift. to accept this gift please press 1"

i pressed "end call" instead

got the call and answered, caller said "as a preferred Bell customer you have won a prize, press 1 to accept"  I hung up.  SCAM

said they were bell canada and that i won a prize.

i got the EXACT same call a minute ago....

I got a call from this number, missed it, then called them back later. It never made a dial tone or anything then started making this strange sound with a muffled voice in the background and disconnected at 10 seconds. Since then, every time I try to make call I get no dial tone and when it "connects" I hear nothing until it disconnects at 10 seconds into the call again. My friend tried to call me and said all she heard was a weird beeping like a fax machine and then silence. So whatever they did they messed something up in my phone and I really want to find out who did this, considering I got my phone 2 weeks ago for near $600 I'm not too thrilled about this.

I just got this scam call 15 minutes ago.  Fortunately, I was busy elsewhere so I just noticed the failed call on my cellphone.

Can these turds be tracked down and stopped or even charged?

Got a call from this number this evening on my Cell. It said it was Bell calling saying I was a preferred  customer and to press 1 I did so and got a person on the end of the line telling me that I won a trip to the caribbean.   I told them I wasnt interested and they hung up.
They had the fakest Caribbean accent I have ever heard.
I looked up the number and found this website. I will be calling Bell Mobility in the AM and ensuring I don't have any charges from this number!

Called when i was sleeping, left no mvoice mail

Got a call. Left no message. I am on the Do Not Call Registry can I file a claim against this number???

I'm in Ottawa. Got a call at 7:03pm on Dec 9th 2010.

I didn't pick up,  They didn't leave a message.

I have a voice-over-IP number, that I have not used for a few months.
It automatically delivers voice-mail as E-mail to me, with a WAV file attached:

P.S. I tried returning the call, but got "this number is not in service".

They claimed to be affiliated with WestJet,  and were offerring packages of $698 deals to Orlando and Cancun.  I usually hang up on these immediately,  but pressed 1 as I had flown with WestJet in the last six months.  I must say that they were the most polite telemarketers I've dealt with.  Usually it is some kid in India,  but the two women I spoke to had Southern US accents. We spoke for 40 minutes and they answered all my questions satisfactorily,  with me eventually buying a cheaper package at half the price.  

Only afterwards did it occur to me that I should have gone to the nearest CPU and checked on the WestJet connection. Called them today, and of course it was a scam.  Dumb, dumb, dumb.  I'll be cancelling and changing my credit card info now. Most likely my money is gone,  but I will let people know if anything comes of it.  Buyer Beware!

I have been getting calls from this number on my cell.  I called back and it said it was an inactive number.

They called ,said .I have won a prize from Shaw Cable,
When I asked who are you ,they hung up!!!

This number called saying i was a valued bell customer and won a prize. To accept press 1. So i did becasue i just changed my number with bell yesterday so didnt think it would be anyone other then bell which is my cell phone provider. After pressing 1 this east indian guy answerd and asked me for some information about myself. I told him to get bent and find another way to make an honest living. Loser.

This is the second time in a week they have called.  It comes up with the phone number and "Ontario" in the display.  I never answer calls from a number I don't recognize so I didn't pick up.  They didn't leave a message.

I work for shaw Cable, and we have recieved many calls today about customers getting calls from someone claiming to work for "Shaw" and that they have won something and to press 1. This is 100% SCAM. Us at Shaw do not call our customer and solicit them, and try to gain CC information. Please do hang up if you get these calls.
