Just received a call, missed it.
They left no message.

But good thing I looked it up because I flew with Air Canada 2 weeks ago!
... although I wouldn't have pushed 1 without speaking to an actual person...

I am wondering why calling companies (companies who provide phone service) can't trace these type of [***] numbers.

called just now, claimed i was a bell canada customer, which i'm proudly not, and said press 1 for the trip i've one. i hung up

Got a call from the number in question stating this is Bell and that I won a prize and to press 1. After waiting for a few seconds the machine hung up.

Just got a call from them - since I was expecting call from the US I answered.

Same as everyone else - "As a valued Bell Canada customer, you have won a special prize.  Press 1 to claim your -"  (click) I hung up then.

Got a call on my work cell just a few minutes ago claiming to be Bell Canada telling me I had won a prize and to press one to accept. I just hung up, if I had won a prize I am sure that Bell would put something in the mail instead of an automated message.

Just got call on cell no. Didnt pick up, guessed it was a flakey number/scam.

They called with "...because you are a special bell canada customer you will receive a special gift. To recieve your special gift Press 1..."  

thats where I hung up.

Voice said "Hello, as a preferred Bell Canada customer you have won a prize. Press 1 to accept."

I did not press 1 and after a few moments of silence, it disconnected.

You may get a service charge unknown amount, check your bill and complain if there is any charge for this. they may reduce it.

Got an 'automated voice' call today from 289-695-9898, saying that as I belong to the Canadian airmiles program I can get 50,000 extra points by pressing "1". Just hung up, as I believe these calls are spam and can cause further havoc with more companies crank calling. How annoying!

Just got a call from it. No message. Thank god I'm stupid and not sure what the 289 area code is from. I have a 416 number and live in Ottawa right now so anything I pick up is long distance.
