....haven't been w/Bell for 2 years!

They did the same thing but using Bell Canada as the company name. Do not press 1!they will start debiting long distance calls from your phone account!

It rang and when I Answered. The line shot down

You are a preferred customer of Bell Canada Press 1 to receive your prize. Scam confirmed by Bell Canada

Same thing, because you are a bell canada preferred customer. Did not press # 1 as they said to do. The line just went dead.

I answered but my phone disconnected because of low reception but it said something about Bell preferred customer i pressed 1 what shoud i do

The do not call registry is useless for anyone calling from outside of Canada or scammers - which covers most of them.

Got a call on my cell in a Montreal area code, no message.  When I called back, number not in service.

Idiot number called me a few minutes ago.

Got a call saying that you won a prize because you are a special client of Air Transat. Seems they are using many company names. Glad I hung up...

Rec'd a missed call on my cell phone. 289-695-9898.  Tried to call but not in service.  Have read online about long distance charges directed to one's phone if you get tricked into dialing a certain sequence of numbers.  Never knew if it were true or not.

Received call from 289-695-9898. Did not answer the call.  No message was left.  I tried calling the number back and got a recording that the number is not in service.

I got a call just now from this number identifying themselves as from Bell Mobility & they said the same message that i won a free gift and they transferred me to another person who identifed he was from Cancun.  I hope i am not charged for this call as they kept me on the phone for a couple of minutes before I hung up on the.  I did not give them any information over the phone.
