They called and said press 1, and asked for my credit card

got a few calls from this number...no message....shady cold caller?

Got a call. Said from Bell.  I'm with telus :)   hung up.  Next time I will press 1 and completely [***] with the guy from cancun.  I will tell him that I can't find my credit card and will call him back at the 289 number.

Received a call saying I won something and should press 1.
I dropped immediately.

Said I won a free offer from bell. I answered it, but never answered them when they asked for my age, and they hung up.

Just received the call.  Caller is unknown and outside my area code, so did not answer... knew it was a scam of some sort.  Checking it out here... still don't know the caller's identity.  Too bad the cellular carriers don't shutdown such a frequent known scammer.

Yammering accented English at top speed but obviously not a native-English speaker. If they have the brains to figure out how to run this scam, why can't they do something honest and legal for a living?

Didn't answer.  Left no message.

Called on my cell and didn't leave a message. Received a similar call on my home phone today though claiming to be Zellers and that I had won a cruise. They left a message but I didn't call them back as it was another - press 1 to accept this offer and 3 to decline

it's a new cell with a new number, only gave it to http://alliancedata.com/, so they sold my number to telemarketers, shame on you!

yes same thing to me same number but a ladie asked me if i was 25 i said no and she hung up i was like wtf lmaoo

DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER BACK. The number is in service and that recording you hear is fake.

What is happening is they have taken your called id and put you in "please call, this is a real person on the line" list. Just don't answer, or better yet add the number to your contact list as "telemarketer". That way if they call again, you will know right away.

This number appeared to call my cellphone, but I didn't answer because I haven't yet figured out the dual-line feature of the cordless phone that's Bluetoothed with the cellphone.  They didn't leave voicemail.

Don't know the number...no message...not a local call so must be a tele or scammer.  Don't want this number calling my cell!!!

Claim they are from Air Canada and to push 1 to claim a prize.....
