Received a call from Ontario (city unknown) at 12:44 pm Vancouver Time on my Virgin Mobile but missed the call.

No messages left.

Likely a spam call or wrong number and nobody has my cellular # except family and relatives I trust/recognize.

I am also on the "Do Not Call List"!!

Check the # you are calling and try again! If this is a spam call, I have call display and I will decline/ignore the call and report it into the web or if necessary to the local authorities.

got a call from them today.  glad i didn't answer.

I just recieved a call and it said since you are a part of bell you won a prize. to claim the prize press 1. I ran to tell my mom but by the time I reached her the call ended. She said "Oh why didn't you press 1?" I told her it could have been a virus or something bad, and by pressing 1 whoever it was could find out our credit card number. And if it really was Bell and we did win a prize they could get a real person to tell me, not an autimated voice. And I have caller ID and those few times Bell did call me it said Bell so I knew it couldn't be them. Curious and willing to do anything but my homework I went on google and typed it in. Thank God the call ended or I might have listened to my mom and pressed 1.

Received automated call saying because I am a preferred Bell Canada customer I have won a prise and must press"1" to accept.

I NEVER press any button that an automated recording (or live person) tells me to due to numerous scam. And besides, I am on Virgin mobile so I knew something smelled fishy. haha

I really hope that in the near future No one ever presses 1 and all of these scammers dry up and blow away like some snot-filled kleenix.

They've changed their tactic.  Now they're saying "because you are a preferred customer of Bell Canada you've won a gift.  Press 1 to receive it."  Odd that they would phone my on my Rogers cell line.  SCAM!

Just received call...i did not answer, whoever called left no message.

this number called our mobile #. we didn't answer it cause we didn't recognize it... then i thought of doing a google search & found this thread :) thanks!

A few minutes ago received the same call on my cell.  Didn't press 1.

Just got a call too...didn't answer, they left no message.

my mom just got a call from that number i typed it into the reverse phone number funtion on yellowpages.ca and nothing came up :(

They called me tonite in BC, I didn't answer.

my cell was ringing,by the time i got to it-it stopped.
couldn't recognize the number.
googled the number-somewhere in southern ontario.
then got onto this page and after reading comments,now know what's what.
