I've gotten this call more than once as well at home. Luckily, the answering machine grabs it every time.

Automated message said I won something for being a valuable Bell customer and to press 1.   (I hung up)

Jazz airways is aware of this scamming activity happening over the phone, and has a notice on their website.

I believe this explains the temporary lock down of the Air Canada's Aeroplan website.

Called me afternoon of 12/06/2010.  I didnt answer, left no message... just a hang up on my voice mail.

I have my number on a do not call list and they are still getting my number. This is driving me crazy. I just my number on a do not call list for a second time. So they have 31 days to stop calling me.

Called at 8:30 in the morning, robot voice saying since I was a Bell customer I had 'won a prize'...

same thing as all the posts, except it said it was bell Canada, which I know it isn't because I'm on their no call list

Called around 8:40am in Vancouver BC, didn't pick up and no voice msg.

I just got this call 2 minutes ago and hung up on the damn machine

The number was not local so I did not answer. The weird part was that when I saw caller ID it said "New Jersey" along with the number. :S

Called my cel phone just now, i didnt pick up. And i do work for Bell Canada, and believe me..there are no preferred customers.

got a call, no message was left.

"Hi youre a preferred bell canada customer, press 1 for a free gift."

Obvs scam.

Had a "missed" call number on my cell phone.  Tried to call the number back from land line phone, and number is no longer in service......how can that be, if the number called me?

Seems they are back to offering special prizes to Bell Canada customers.  Called  my cell, I did not press 1.

I got a call from them, it said you are a bell prefered customer, press 1 to receive gift, I hug up

Yup got a call from them and didnt bother answering.
