I recieve calls from this and several other numbers with the same recorded voice but different scams.I finnaly found out what is going on.This line belongs to the home office for a chain of McDonalds.There line is being hijacked.I spoke with the FCC,and Consumer Affairs both claim they know about the situation,but state there is nothing they can do.They both know that bussiness lines are being hijacked for the purpose of someone gaining private information,but they have no leads on who is doing this.

Started calling today, after I declined a soliitation from "Sales Dept"
from 757-990-8981, which I have been getting two calls a day from for three weeks now.  Must be a sister compnay because it sounds like the same offer about a credit card and credit card rates....

I get a call from this number about every day. They want to lower my morgage rates. When I press 1 and ask to talk to some and tell them I don't need thir kelp they hang up on me.
Today the badge number was 8712 so he told me.

why isnt do not call stopping these

Caller indicated that this call was a WARNING about my credit. I am on the don't call list and shouldn't get this type of call. Tried to call them back and couldn't get connected.

Received a call from 301-882-9986 today (May 14, 2009 @ 348pm) which came into my cell phone (Verizon).  I am on a Do Not Call list.  I am reporting these people.  Please reply.  Thank you.

I'm on the DNC and these guys represented they could reduce my interest rate on credit cards.  When I was connected to a representative I asked them if they were with my credit card company.  They answered no.  She said they were a consumer advocate group.  I told her I was on the DNC.  She told me there was nothing I could do except to ignore the calls.  I told her I didn't want the calls at all.  I am on the DNC.  She said nothing she could do and hung up.  I tried to call back but the number doesn't work.

Machine saying,

"The number you are calling is invalid."

This number calls a couple of times a day offering to lower my credit card rates.

They call me every day and have for months.  I'm on the do not call list and they have hung up on me when I try to tell them.

Received a call from this number today. It showed the tn and that is was Out Of State. I didn't bothering picking up and when the answering machine picked up they disconnected the line.

Received a call from this number telling me they could reduce my rates on my credit cards.  The lady identified this business as appointed by Mastercard and Visa to reduce apr with banks.  She then said she had to discuss with her manager which cards would be good to reduce apr.  She kept me on hold and came back asking me for 2 cards.  I asked her if I could call her back and she said that she didn't have a direct line.  Once my information was processed "upstairs" then I could have a line to call.  She said she would call me back on Monday.  I searched the number and saw it was a land line in NEW MARKET, MD 21774.  When you google and use satellite for this area, it is residential not business.

I just got a call from this idiot company!  I am recovering from food poisoning and don't need to be dealing with these stupid telemarketers!

To the one who said they threatened you with death...did they really?  If so, you may be able to report them to your local police and they should be able to tell you where to go from there.

Called stating I could lower my interest rate, connect to 1 to speak to a representative, when I did that no one answered. Tried calling the number, message states # is invalid. I am on the do not call registry, why am I getting these calls. Want them stopped.

They call at least once a week and then hang up after I say hello a few times, I've actually spoken to someone before and asked to please stop calling and they hung up! Now it says I can't call number is invalid! This is a huge waste of time and minutes and gets frustrating!!

Call twice today answer my cell phone they hung up.

They have been calling me 3-4 times per week for months. Today I spoke to a rep and asked what the name of the company was and he said "Card Services". So, this company comes up when you google that:

 I have decided to take a stand and write to these 'people'.  What idiot actually gives them any info? What a waste of money in this economy, huh? I will write my letter to them below with a link at the top as to who it's going to -- please copy and send the same letter-- if they get enough maybe these jerks will stop!!

  Your company has been cold calling thousands of Americans for over one year with an offer to 'lower your interest rate' or 'urgent message about your credit card'. The number most often used (and piggybacked) to make these calls is 1-301-882-9986, the caller ID saying Call Center, MD. I spoke to a rep at this number today and they gave me YOUR information. This number has called me 3 to 4 times per week for MONTHS. I am on the Do Not Call list, I have pressed buttons that said I would be taken off YOUR list to call, I have spoke to reps who HANG UP on me when I say "Take me off your list". I have reported you to the FCC and the DNC registry. Only an idiot would give out their info through this marketing campaign, it is a waste of your money and you are making a lot of enemies! It cannot be worth the money it costs to maintain. I will report you every single time I receive a call from this, or any other number with the same recording. This is no joke, I do not want to be harassed by you or any other uninvited callers. I suggest you stop this waste of time and find some other method to stir up business, harassing hard working taxpayers is not a way to inspire good faith for your company!
