- AMEX RepHad customers call in stating that whomever is calling from this # is impersonation an AMEX representative. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT REPRESENT US! They claim to represent several other companies, & seem to be a scam. Pls report to FCC!
- Caller: n/a
- ronniehey got one of those too. filed a complaint on the national do not call registry. if everybody does this maybe we can stop this crap.
- annoyedI've gotten 3-4 calls a day from this number. I answered the other day and told the "nice lady" that I was on the DNC list. She said the DNC didn't apply to them. AUGH! So now I keep getting calls.
- Caller: NA
- KELLEYI asked the man who answered who is this company that calls everyday at my children's nap time? He told me it was visa/mastercard headquarters. I called my visa and they don't sell my info to any third parties and they did not call me. I told him I was on the do not call list and he told me that as long as I was a client of visa, he could call me. I even called the number back and pressed #1 to be removed from this call list and I have still not been removed. I filed a complaint with the FCC. This third party is misrepresenting themselves and needs to be stopped.
- JulieWe get a recorded call just about everyday. When you press one you can speak to a representative. They will tell you they work with Visa and Mastercard to lower finance rates. When I insist on the name of the company, they hang up. I called the number back and it says to remove your number, press....so I did,and they still call. I have recently reregistered our number on the do not call registry. If any of you are on it, please report them!

I have reported all that have called and have gotten replies from the FCC - louisianaCompany name: Card Member Services

I been receiving calls for over a month. Each time I press 2 to remove my number but they keep calling. So time to turn the table.
My advice Press 1. Talk to them, I kept "Chris" on line for 3 minutes then asked to speak with a manager to help explain things, so "Candice" tried explaining the fee process and about 2 minutes into it I asked "What if I do not have a monthly balance?" She hung up. - Charles PetschkeReceived call from 3018829986 asking me to press "one" for program to lower rates on my credit card. No specific card was named, as I have several. I hung up without any conversation. It sounded like a recording. Overall: sounds like a scam. Call out the cyber police. Noted to"WHOCALLSME" on 11 Jun 2009

- SARAHRECEIVE THESE CALLS FROM 3018829986 - THEY HANG UP WHEN YOU TELL THEM YOU ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

- Caller: out of state
- ohioAnd have you noticed that their number disappears from your caller ID log after a few hours? Write down the caller ID info when they call!

- SlowfootThey call me every couple of days or so. I have punched "3" to be removed, but the call me again anyway. Today I punched "1" to speak to someone, told him I only had a balance of $2000, and he hung up.

- flwrgrlI just got a call from this number. It was a recording telling me I was about to miss the last chance for a lower credit card rate. It sounded bogus, but I decided to press 1 for an operator to see who it was. When the man answered the phone, I asked who he was and what card company he was with. He immediately got pissy and acted like I had called him. When I said he had called me, he said that he was at a Visa call center that does not call out and insisted I phoned him. He was very rude, so I told him to go F*** himself and hung up on him. I called the number back and an Asian sounding recorded voice stated my phone number and I asked if I wanted to be removed from their list. I reluctantly pressed 1 for yes. I will let you know if they call back!
- Caller: They said Visa
- C BunnNumerous hang up call
- RockyHave been getting this call several times a week. Filed a complaint at the DNC site. Each robocall states that this is the final notice. Pressing '2' to decline does not stop the calls.
What I now do is to press '1' and talk to someone. I try to string them along for as long as I can by asking about their company, where they're located, how they know me, what services they offer, how they can help me, etc. I'll ask to talk to his/her supervisor to help explain what their offer is. When I think I've reached the end of their string, I'll let them know that I'm registered on the FTC's 'Do Not Call' site and wish for them to remove me from their list. As expected, they promptly hang up on me.
I take satisfaction in knowing that I've kept them on the phone for awhile with nothing to show for it. It's become a game with me to see how long I can keep them on the line before I finally have to let them hang up on me.- Caller: Maryland Call
- MARSHA MIHALKORECEIVING NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY --- WHEN I DO ANSWER, I GET RECORDING SAYING TO HIT #2 TO REMOVE FROM CALL LIST ----- THE CALLS KEEP COMING IN
- Never tell your SS # (or anything else)I got a call from this number and they acted like they had my financial records and were doing a follow up. I asked who they were and wouldn't say and, instead, they started trying to intimate me into proving who I was. Ha. They first wanted my social security number (which I never, ever give out on the phone unless I personally know who I'm talking to or initiated the phone call myself to my bank, credit card co., etc.) When I wouldn't give them my SS number, they wanted for me to "at least" verify my address. They gave me a crazy address to tempt me to correct it, which I did not. I told them to take me off of their scam list.
Beware of such calls. They come often. Legally, if you say the magic words "TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALLING LIST," they have to do so and not call you for at least 6 months. At least, that gets rid of some of these calls for a while.- Caller: unknown
- 3018829986These people are running up a large fine. Recorded msg says I am pre-qualified for a reduced rate on my credit cards. Press 1 to talk to a low-life humanoid working for these scumbags. I press 1 and recording says "unable to transfer my call at this time". Their employee is busy with self-fondulation while watching Jerry Springer.
These people are the lowest of the lowest dirtbags breathing in air.- Caller: from New Market, MD
- fedupinohioI have been receiving calls from this number also for the past 2 months. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry and every time I do get through to someone and ask for them to stop calling, they hang up.
Today I filed a formal complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office in Columbus, OH. Go online to your state's AG and file a complaint. I'm just one person, but if the AG starts getting complaints from everyone, then this will stop......- Caller: Call Center, MD
