Report a phone call from 303-280-8689 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- WaltThe call is from the people who distribute the Yellow Book phonebook. They hire some low-paid workers to hand deliver their phonebooks. This call is just their attempt to confirm that their phonebooks are indeed being delivered (and not just dumped into some landfill somewhere) by these workers.
While the call is an annoyance, I can see why they follow-up. - PDCProduct Development Corporation (PDC) is a national distributor of telephone directories. PDC utilizes phone calls to confirm delivery of telephone directories. PDC does not leave the survey questions on an answering machine. The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not apply to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC is not soliciting.
PDC uses delivery verification through phone calls because of the cost and quality of this quality control method. This type of quality control process is done by all the major companies in the distribution of telephone directories. Having said this, PDC is aware and respects that there are individuals that would not like to be part of this type of survey. As a result, PDC has created its own internal Do-No-Call list. If you or anyone else would like to have their phone number removed from our calling lists, please email the phone number you wish to be removed to DoNotCall@teampdc.com.
As such, even though PDC will no longer contact all numbers that are requested to be on our DoNoCall list, you may be contacted by others that do not have this capability.

- Tyler DurdenI am on DNC list, but this robo caller managed to get past my phone system anyway. If this is about YellowBook phone books as others have indicated, I always throw them in the trash as soon as they arrive.....half the info in there is incorrect anyway. Morons

- HermitI was at my mom's this afternoon and this number called but we didn't answer. When I got home I saw it on my called ID, too, but no message was left. So I did a google search and found this site. I see a lot of people said it was confirming a phone book delivery and I did get a new phone book today (that I picked up and put right in the trash... I wish those would stop coming!!).
- tiggerthey called me and it was just the sound of a lion growling on the other end, super creepy!
- arf arfJust called here.. from reading the comments I can guess they're wanting to know if the yellow pages book was delivered the other day. Whatever- I don't answer the phone if I don't know who's calling. Let them leave a message and state their business! The phone is for MY use, not theirs. I pay for it.
Anyway, Caller ID only indicated "Colorado Call" which didn't really tell me much.- Caller: Colorado Call
- Dr..B.If this is really a survey to confirm the receipt of new phone books I would have been glad to confirm the delivery but with the identity PRODUCT DEV on the caller ID it looked just like any annoying survey and I did not answer. If the ID had somehow related to the delivery of the new phone books they would have had their answer and I would hav given cudos to the way the guys delivering the book handled them, not tossing them all over the yards but delivering them right to front stoops.
- Man in TexasBe careful. They are confirming that the phone number received their phone book. But also they are creating a database of "reachable" persons so they can SELL YOUR NAME to other telemarketers. Once you on their "list" they can sell the phone number and you will see an increase in crappy phone calls.
- Agent 007This is a "collections company" trying to get you to answer and/or call them back. If you try to call from a different phone, they just put their peeps on that number and try to determine who owns that. They even have a full working website for product development. Pretty slick. Bottom line is...pay your bills.
- Mr B LowSilent telemarketing calls starting to kick up recently after two months of relative quiet. Another number is 1.850.701.1049 which has been numerous over two day period.
- angry consumerHERE'S WHAT TO DO:
Look up this company's corporate telephone number. It is not the same as the call out number 303-280-8689. Once you have their corporate number, CALL IT. Ask many questions. Call them again to be sure they understand your displeasure. CALL IT 3 more times just to be sure. If each of us does that, their corporate line may become blocked with our calls...that would really be a shame....Be sure to check their website for their most up to date phone number, as they might try to change it to avoid our complaint calls. They need to hear from us, again and again and again and again and again... - the Vampire SlayerCaller ID just says "Product Dev"....very irritating.
- mmmproduct development called and we called back and it is product development and the last thing we need anyway is another phone book. However after reading this I doubt that it is them , but some scam. Simply I blocked the number. I cannot for the life of me understand why this goes on and on. Why is it that Americas phone companies cannot come up with something that works like what I have on the computer.I dont get emails from strangers and Product developement is a stranger.

- BamboozelHas anyone reported this number to National DNC listing?
- ACLike all the others, called me at work, hung up when I answered. I have reported them to the DNC list 4x in the past month, but they won't remove our business number.
- Caller: Product Dev.
- CycloneThis is my first time getting this phone number. I've seen a lot of these for fraud scams on here recently, so I haven't been answering. I figured it was just another number for the 321 number that keeps calling. Coincidentally, we did receive a new phone book recently; I don't mind it so much, it just collectsa dust on the shelf until the rare occasion we need something.
- Caller: Unknown Name
- FubarI just sent them a message!
I sent them a pc-fax consisting of 50 pages (word doc) that was in 72 pitch font stating: DO NOT CALL (and my #) over & over again.
I sent this to: 610-238-6650 -Fax
And in case they didn't get the message...I also sent the same thing to the parent company!
Parent: 831-333-0110 -Fax
Just maybe they will get the hint if everyone does this!!

- Justin FoThey want to know if you got their new phone book, thats all it is folks. But really who cares, I don't know anyone who uses a phone book anymore, and as soon as one comes to my house i simply toss it in the trash, Maybe we should send them a bill for taking out their trash for them. Really you guys at the PDC should spend a few pennies on buying a clue! NOBODY GIVES A $HIT ABOUT YOUR STUPID LITTLE BOOK ANYMORE !!! >:0| Stop calling our homes and waking those of us who work nights, or bothering us during the dinner hour. Just because the PDC's think its important don't make it so!!
