Man identifying himself as Rodney Crane said he was calling from YP cancellation per my bosses request and that he had a cancellation # I could take down to permanently close the file.  Also, since the ads run from 2010 to 2012, they would be sending an invoice for $599.  I cut him off saying that I did not believe for a minute that my boss made the call to them and he hung up mid sentence. SCAM!!! SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE!

The telephone number 305-434-7047 belonged to use years ago and apparent it was reassigned to them. Now we are receiving all their complaint calls. We already reported this issue to the authorities.

If they mail it to you ....isn't that mail fraud ?  I know lawyers are expensive.... but hell... I always say .. submit your request in writing and they hang up or say ... I have someone in your area who can be at your office in a few minutes... I always want it by the Mail.  

I am lucky as I didn't answer the call today and will now block them.

I recieved a call to my business and tried to get me to pay $500. as well as all the other sthat posted on this site. I reported it online as a scam to www.ftc.gov. When you call the number back it states to be taken off their calling list to push 1 but it goes nowhere. BEWARE and DO NOT confirm nor commit to anything!

If you go to the yellow pages on line you will see that a listing is FREE and only paid if you choose to upgrade! They are idiots and I hope the FTC can fine them heavily!

Caller ID says Marathon Florida. I answer and get hung up on up to twice a day. I call back and message says hang up if you want them to call back. Well, of course I have to hang up.

Office Soultions (aka Virtual Office) says this was an old phone # of theirs that they don't have anymore.  On their website they offer to sell you a virtual (pretend) office complete with address and phone #.  Well if they can't fix their old phone # problem, what can they do for you when they sell you a problem number?
Being polite, or not answering a tele-marketer, or adding them to the  FTC's near worthless DNC list will not make them go away.  The proof is in the tens of thousands of numbers listed on sites like this.  The only solution is to be as rude and crude to every tele-marketer, every time.  They have no problem with interrupting 999 people's daily routine to get their 1 scam completed.  If they had to listen to 999 people like me for every 1 scam they completed, they would soon find other employment.  This particular offending number belongs to http://www.offixsolutions.com  Toll Free: (877) 809-4888).  Contact their home office and let them know quite graphically how you feel and do your part for all of us.  If you just can't bring yourself to be rude, at least pass this message on to others who will fight the fight for you, thanks.

As explained in a previous post, Offix Solutions has nothing to do with this company. That number belonged to us in 2009 and apparently was reassigned to another company. We do not call people, we are not telemarketers, we do not collect payments over the phone. We are not related to any yellow pages company. Offix Solutions is a legit company located in Miami Florida that provides virtual office services.

These people keep calling and when I answer no one is there.  Three times today and I was irritated enough to call the number back for an "unsubscribe" request.  Got a lovely recording about how my privacy was respected, blah, blah, and push 1 to remove your name from the list.  Pushed one multiple times.  Nothing happens!  Called the MN Attorney General to file a complaint - got reasonable advice but that was about it.  Phone company will be next on the list to try and block it.

I argued with the caller about an alleged account that had a 4 year old address on the account. I was told repeatedly that my boss called them and wanted me to authorize the cancellation. I called my boss and asked him about it. He said he did no such thing. Again more arguing with the woman on the phone. She transferred me to someone who asked if I would authorize the cancellation and accept the invoice. During the call I argued with this woman about the legitimacy of the account she "put me on hold" and hung up. The first woman called back to make sure I got my number, transferred me again and hung up on me. AGAIN! She called back! She transferred me again to the same woman I talked to before and asked if I would accept the confirmation and invoice. I said no and I asked for a number where I could find out who signed up for the account. The provided number went to the legitimate Yellow Pages Online. The CR told me they had many calls today about this scam and that's what it is - a scam.

Can you please provide your full name, credentials, and contact information at Offix Solutions?
If I call the main number, 1-877-809-4888, do I just ask for you?
Has your company contacted the phone company regarding the caller ID record?
I'd like to see a *little* recognition from you, that in offering virtual office services, obviously *some* of your clients are going to a bit shady.  I mean, come on!
So if you really did represent them, I would imagine you would get this caller ID situation squared away immediately.
Unless of course....  this person is just paying $99/month for that phone number, and is now posing as "Jonathan"...

Today was the first time I received a call from "Bryan Russell" at 305-434-7047.  They called our business and said that they were Yellow Pages and that my boss authorized a cancellation for an apparent free online subscription we have had for a year.  It seemed shady to me so while she was talking trying to confirm our information, I texted my boss and asked him if he ever talked to Yellow Pages authorizing a cancellation.  He said no.  I immediately interrupted the lady (sounded indian, very strong accent) and told her that I just texted my boss and he said he never talked to them. She had the gall to say she DID talk to him and he DID cancel the subscription.  I told her no he didn't and we don't know anything about any free online subscription.  She kept trying to talk over me saying at my bosses request she was trying to send me some papers in the mail cancelling the service.  I interrupted her and said "is this costing us anything."  She said $500 to cancel or $1200 to keep the service.  I told her that didn't make any sense because WE NEVER HAD THE SERVICE!  She kept saying we did and kept being pushy and got louder and more rude.  I don't know why I didn't hang up just yet.  I guess I was mad and I kept arguing with her and I even laughed because the whole conversation was so ridiculous. I finally stopped her and said "Look, I don't know who you are or what you are trying to pull but we do not have your services and we are not paying for anything and to Never call back again!"  I then hung up.

I called my boss to tell him the ridiculous story and again he confirmed he never talked to anyone at Yellow Pages.  Shortly after that they called back.  Same number, same name on the caller ID.  I answered and the lady said "oh, i'm sorry.  got the wrong number."  And hung up.  Maybe they won't call back here again.

I googled the phone number and came across this site.  I'm glad I wasn't fooled into giving out any information.  This seems highly illegal and just flat out wrong!

2 calls both hung up after I answered.  Called about 15 min apart from each other.  Caller ID shows the phone number along with Miami, FL.

Basically the same person called, said all of the same things, and then hung up on me!  Very rude!!!  Told me that our company owed $600 for the last 2 years (that we never agreed to) and would not cancel our listing until I agreed to accept the outstanding invoice and when I said no he told me I would be receiving an invoice for the last 2 years and for 2 additional years for a total of $1,800!  THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!

Calls several times a day but never says anything?

Just received my first two "Bryan Russell" phone calls today, exactly two hours apart. Both times, no one was there when I picked up. Hopefully they don't call again in another two hours. So annoying! Wish they would at least say something when I pick up so I could tell them to buzz off and be done with it

Ridiculous the amount of phone calls I get per day from this 305-434-7047 ( Bryan Russell ), If they want to do business with someone at least have the courtesy of leaving a message with what is it they are selling.
Very bad practice and will never do business with them.

Yeah, I've gotten a call from this same number for three days straight, I always get no response when I answer, so I hang up immediately. But, today when the call came in, I lifted the receiver and immediately hung it back up without saying anything. Caller ID says came from Marathon, FL. Who knows? All I know is: it's scam crap.

I had the same Indian caller Edward Miller wanted to send us the yellow pages cancellation #. Like previously reported, I was hand over to an american sounding woman and told her I was NOT authorized to accept an invoice. She gave me 866-612-8434 as a number to have the owner of this company call back to authorize. I was then contacted by Edward again. After getting into a verbal confrontation about me not accepting the cancellation number, I hung up on him. He called back two more times. I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. THIS IS A HUGH SCAM! and not a very nice person do deal with.
