Tried to tell us we owed for online yellow pages..  Googled here while on phone.  Same guy and name and MO.  Thanks for the help.

This same call happend at our office today. When I would not agree with him he became irate and started screaming in the phone "you will listen to me"
I hung up on him and he called back telling me that I just renewed our order and would be billed for 1500.00.

(Caller name showed up as "Bryan Russell."  Spoof.)  Man with an Indian accent claimed to be calling from some "online yellow pages" company and they had received a request from our company to cancel our ads.  This is all lies, of course.  He claimed he needed to give me a cancellation number, "Okay?"  I hung up on him three times! They continued to call and call. No joke! Five times in a row. No matter if you agree or not (and do NOT use the word 'yes' or any kind of agreement kind of word that can be taken out of context if recorded), these scam artists will try to bill you rectroactively for about $500 for alleged online yellow page ads your company did not have and never asked to be cancelled.

We have two seperate lines here and received calls from these people at the same time on both lines.  When I told "Shawn" that someone else had called at the same time on the other line he hung up.

I keep getting a call from this number but no one answers or they do not leave a message.305-434-7047

That is what happens to me!

I received a call stating that I own $649.99 for my on-line yellow page ad. I stated that I don't owe anything. The caller (Indian accent) stated that I probably don't remember that I had signed up for an ad back in 2010. The first year was free and thereafter it's not and I have to pay for the past 2 years. Well, I continued to state that that's not true and the conversation is very much like what others mentioned. He forwarded me over to someone I'm supposed to set up an invoice with or something and to get my cancellation  file #. I could barely hear the girl (also Indian accent) and she finely was audible and asking me questions. I refused to say yes to a statement in regards to this "pending" bill. I didn't answer the questions the way the first caller told me how to answer them, so she sent me back to him. He got very angry with me for not answering the question right! I think he wanted to record me saying "yes" to a certain question, of which I argued with him that I am not going to say yes to something that I don't agree with and that I did not sign up for this. He's saying that it's the only way that my invoice can be sent to me and then I can check to see if my signature matches on the paperwork that they're going to mail me. Well, I wouldn't let this conversation continue and hung up. The guy has called me 8 times in 24 minutes. Inbetween the first and last call I did not pick up, because I called yp to verify. She stated that it IS a scam. That my on-line listing is free and is FREE INDEFINITELY!!! The guy called again and I answered and he wouldn't let me talk saying that since I hung up on him that I now owe $1500! I finally got a word in and told him that I know that he's a scammer and that I called yp to verify and that I owe absolutely nothing, and STOP CALLING ME! He yelled at me that I've got a bill coming in the mail and hung up. GRRRRRRRR!  He probably changes his name all the time, but get this....an Indian guy with a Indian accent with an Irish/English name: Sean Pattinson, Sr. Supervisor.

I had the same EXACT conversation with, "James Senior Manager of Business Yellow Pages Online," this afternoon.  We are currently in the process of canceling ads with YP so, I listened to the script.  I never give verbal confirmations for outstanding balances and that's because we never have them {{LoL}}  Nice try : )   The minute he said, "We will be issuing you a cancellation letter and invoice in the amt. of $646.66, hold for transfer," I was preparing to hang up.  Michelle came on the line right before I clicked "OFF" on the cordless phone.  She asked me a series of questions but, the connection sucked so I put her on hold to switch phones.  When she mentioned the balance of 646.66, I told her that we didn't know anything about a balance and the Doctor would like to speak with James.  We were mysteriously disconnected during transfer.  No callbacks yet and it's closing time.

repeat calls and hang ups all day 4/2/13  blocked this number.

I have gotten two calls today and these idiots so far have said nothing!! its like there is no one on the other end!! But now that I have read these posts I have also gotten calls from some Indian guy stating someone is hacking into my computer the needed my e-mail and name of business (he said he was with the phone company) , and when I said which computer, he said its all of them then I asked him how many and he would not answer just said all of the ones in the company! Then I said I only have one then he hung up! !!! These guys need to be caught!!!

I have been getting many, many calls from this number and nobody ever answers!

I would think the Attorney General would be happy to prosecute!

Scam-----  called my businessb and telling us we have  unpaid  yellow pages bill...... we never had any account with yellow pages... and he calling from India...........!!!!

"James" from Business Yellow Pages.com called about a bogus internet account we supposedly signed up for in 2010 with the 1st year free and $649.99 for the 2nd year. Caller id showed 305-434-7047. When asked to speak to a supervisor I was transferred to "Mark" who after I asked for the account number told me he would look into the error. Then wouldn't you know it, "James" called back. I asked him for their customer service number and documentation and of course got the run around. Brings a bad name to the fact that we are actually YP.com account holders for the last 10+ years.
Would love to report to the BBB if anyone has any additional information.

This same number has called me over a dozen times in 2 days, several just this morning.  No one on the other end so I must be in the fishing expedition of real numbers for the scammers to call.  I own my company, and I'm the only one here so this scam won't work.  I just hate running back to answer a phone and seeing this same number.  Thanks for posting here because I came here to see if it was a legit company or not.  Thanks for the warning.  I wish there was a way to turn these people in to the police and have them all arrested.

The same Russell Bryan called and asked if I was the owner.  I said yes.  Then he hung up?  This is the 3rd time he has called.  Not a very good scam.  Who is going to pay any kind of strange bill from the yellow pages

I just asked last Sunday to be removed from their calling list. I did again today.
