I have gotten 2 calls from 312-640-3944 in the last 3 days.  I did not answer and no voicemail message was left.  I have tried the number many times and always get a busy signal. What' up?

I don"t know who the hell you people think you are but my phone is unlisted and unpublished. I do not accept that some company has any rights to call anyone at random and bother them. I think it is offensive. i will be calling the ftc monday to report this invasion of privacy

It is a service that gives u a survey to complete.  Mine was about a repair call for my new eashing machine

Don't think so, not unless you have spoken with them as when I get the calls there is no one there. And call backs give nothing but ringing... (May have gotten busy signal in the day, not sure??)

You actually spoke with a person or a computer or something? When I pick up, there is nothing! And if I call back it just rings & rings. (May have gotten busy signal in day, not sure??? Don't really think so.)

I also purchased a "DOA" freezer from Sams Club, meaning "dead on delivery, but when that number rings in there is no one there & if I call it back late night it just rings & rings. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason, just annoying!!

I started getting calls from this number & when I pick up there is NO ONE there.

Have had at least 8 calls, 2 on 11/05/12,  3 on 11/06/12, 3 on 11/07/12.

When I called back, in the day, I am not sure whether I got a busy signal or a ring or nothing.

When I call in the wee hours of the morning, it just rings & rings.

It is an annoyance. Guess I will have to block, but first, I wonder what anyone found out by contacting the FCC.

This makes no sense to me that a number would call so many people & no one be on the line???

Just glad it is my home phone. Seems this is a significant issue for many.

Let me know if anyone finds out anything. It does rather PMO that ANYONE can CALL ME, BUT I CAN'T CALL THEM BACK! That just shouldn't be!

I missed the call but I too just purchased appliances from Home Depot (delivered by GE appliances).  I suspect customer service called to follow-up on the delivery.

It's from A&E Repair Services, I bought my dryer from Lowe's.
A&E just repaired my dryer a few days ago.
I am glad it was under warranty, the service call alone was 127.00 and the part replaced was 7.98.
A&E does repairs to Sears, Home Depot, Lowe's, and other stores also.

Scammy ad on craigslist, albany, ny has this number.

"I have an almost brand new LG washer and dryer for sale. I am moving and the new place doesn't have a hookup. Nobody I know needs a new set so I'm selling them on here I'm only looking for $150 to get them out of the way soon. Call or text 312 six four zero 3944 leave a message. I will take down the post when I have sold them. Chris"

Also received a call today and did not answer, but see here that it's likely a survey regarding a Home Depot delivery today.

Number calls my cell phone numerous times/day... never leaves any message.

Did these start after a recent purchase or installation from a large box store? That was when I started with mine.

Calls from this # keep coming in. No one on the other end.

This number called my cell phone at 7:09 p.m. Mountain time tonight- left no message.  Unlisted number.

I also purchased a GE appliance recently, and it needs service.  I called GE the day I got this call from this number. After reading the other posts I wanted to add this.  If GE is giving out our numbers, we could try to get an answer out of GE about their policies.
