This is a collection agancy that targets old debt, usually way beyong SOL, who works in conjunction with or for Portfolio Recovery (757) 519-9300.  They are confrontational and most likely generate a great deal of complaints to the FTC or AG's Office.

This company has called me numerous time, barely lets it ring, hangs up, never leaves a message.

I got this call a few times already.  Never leave a msg.  I don't answer calls I don't know.  If they left a msg, maybe I would call them back

"this message is for jack. please call colleen at extension 240. thank you,"

all i got on the message.. i aint calling back.

i got a call on my direct work line (unlisted) for a family member.  the message was the exact same as above.  i call back and they could not even source the origional call or claim.  overall their information is so flawed and incomplete it is useless.

I just got a call from them today.  They said I was not making payments on my Mastercard.  I told them I do not have a Mastercard which I don't.  They started arguing with me and said I did.  I pointed out that I am not the only person in the world or even my area wtih this name.  Then they asked if the last 4 digits of my SSN was some number which does not match mine.  I told them no and they gave up and hung up.

Called asking for my first name (is my name) then says i owe them $100 for medical collections, and in fact i haven't gone to the hospital in a LONG time. then i asked are you sure your looking for (my first and last name)? and he said no im looking for... someone else. as the call kept going and me reminding him im not that person he was getting mad. he keeps saying Mr. _____ and i keep saying ok [***], u call me ________ i call you [***]!. haha. i think they wont be calling me back ever again!

They are a collection agency. They are calling me looking for someone else and I have asked them to stop at least 10 times. The one girl told me flat out she wont stop calling. Reported them to FTC and CC: Consumer Affairs

THEY STARTED CALLING ME AT WORK AND I TOLD THEM THAT IT IS ILEGAL FOR THEM TO DO THAT AND THE LADY JUST KEPT TALKING. EVEN NOW THEY ARE STILL CALLING MY JOB AND THAT IS NOT ALLOWED.

message left on my work voice mail was to call back to give my employer address for them to send a letter to my employer.

The caller sounds like they are under water or has a pillow over their face!  I cannot even make out what they are saying

We've started getting calls from them too - no message left. Sleeze balls...

I've gotten this call 8x over the last week.
I don't answer and they never leave a msg.
Is there a way to block #s on your cell phone??

they call me after 8pm and when i started stating the law they got all defencive it was funny but i am going to file a suit i suggest everyone should just so you know you do not have to pay these people they can not do anything to you

I was watching a commerical and some of these collectors are contractors and they have no shame they work out of home and they use any tactics possible.

I also have the same experience...early am , late at night, sundays, holidays...and never a message.
