I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a msg. I know Im not in any debt so who is this and why do they keep calling me.

very annoying calls. i tell them there is no one at the number with the name in question and they say they will take the number off but keep on calling at all hours.

I've been getting a monthly call, sometimes more, from these [***]. all i get is a machine telling me to call them back. I don't share a single letter of the name these people are looking for

They keep calling they leave messages. I do owe money but I was under short Term disability with NO pay, and I can barely afford to keep up with the cost of living. I've tried to work with these people, but they don't care...they keep calling every hour, every day...even though I had just spoken to them an hour ago and told them what happened, they don't care they keep calling harrassing me, saying nasty things. So I give up...If they don't have anything nice to say, or if they are just being nasty what is the point in picking up the Phone?......there is no point. You CANNOT REASON WITH THESE PEOPLE. Unfortunetly there is no cure, for stupidity.
Also, these people are not working for you and me, they only work for the Credit Card company or Company that employeed them, so if you give them any information about you in hopes they will help you, they won't becuase they only care about themselves. They only want to get themselves a paycheck they don't actually care about helping you with your situation....so don't even bother.

They call me too. I don't answer UNKNOWN NAME calls. Anyway, read the law. They can call you anytime from 0800 until 900pm Monday through Sunday. You must send a cease communication letter to get them to stop. Send it by certified mail so you have a record. Then you can take legal action if they keep calling. This way they can only contact you by mail if they intend to do something. you can fight them at their own game if you know the laws and know where they are acting illegally.

How to report this unwanted calls from this number

These people are calling me and asking for someone Ive never heard of...Ive had this number for several years.  When I tried to explain that they were unbelievably rude and then hung up on me.

I use a call blocker from root on my droid. When I decided to remove the program I thought to check the logs first. I averaged 12 calls a day for six weeks getting blocked. I never knew!  Needless to say I wont be uninstalling now lol.

they call all the time.... no one speaks like a computer generated call or something.... Then click they hang up

Someone from this number called my home yesterday, 7/19/11 and just hung up without leaving a message or anything.  I did a *69, and the number that came up was 1-312-922-6500.  Don't know who they are or what they wanted, but I've been getting a lot of these hang up calls during the course of about a year or more.  Now that I have *69, I will be getting the information that I need from there and keep checking a site just like this one and posting what I find, as I'm sure that they've all been a scam and they will continue to be a scam.  Please don't give these bottom feeders - oh, people - any information.  This is all a scam.

I've been receiving calls from this number.  Never a message.  Twice I picked up my home phone and immediately hung up.  Now they are calling my cell phone.  My cell is used strictly for outgoing emergencies.  How can I get this person to stop charging up my cell phone and get them to quit.  I am afraid to call them back for fear it will be someone trying a prank to charge up my phone usage.

Just thought I'd let everyone know this is a collection agency looking for Quentin Russell and another person I can't remember.  It is not a prank, just an agency feverishly looking for debt dodgers.

They  have called on an infrequently used cell phone - always off.  I used the envelope information prompt when I checked voice mail.  8 messages from them - 1 every day this week.  I knew they didn't want me or anyone in the house when they mistakenly said, "Maria?", then hung up.  Mostly female voices, but this one was a male voice.  There is m\no Maria in my house.

Actually they are just another Scavenger company One of those that buy accts for pennies on the dollar even If there is a debt owed its not owed to Scavenger company they buy the accts then try and collect what ever they can Often offering some Super Deal if amount satisfied with which maybe Reduced amount Thats common because they know the debt was anyways never owed to them in the first place is Paid right then during their call ....See how it works is the person whos calls that likes to Think of themselves as an Agent or Representive who is actually nothing more than a call center front line person gets a percentage of what is collected on the presumed debt then the parent company, employer makes the rest Now (thats where Scavengers comes in) see in the case of 312-933-6500 that number probably calls at all random times and all its doing Is seeing when someone maybe be home when someone answered the phone so another company will know and so That company will call at the times they have been told someone is home Best thing is not even answer the phone when 312-922-6500 calls. Oh so known there are stautes of limitations on debts it varies by states and I'm sure that information is available on the Internet, Some companies have been Known to try and collect on debts that are past the staute of limitations Its worth knowing what the staute of limitations are for your state.
