Bank of America called me, I called back they answer  Machine came on and asked for my Social Security number? I hung up on and then blocked the number.

Fraudulent. only asking for access and no live person to speak to. All options bring you back to inputting SS# , Card Number and access code.

Called  and left voice mail about new debit card for my account. I don't have a BOA account - I don't like their political leanings. This is an obvious scam.

I got call from this number, the problem is I don't have Account with Bank Of America, why they still asked my sos sec?

This is an automated call from Bank of America saying that a merchant has reported a breach in their security network and that they are issuing you a new BOA debit card. It is a reminder call to activate the new card when it arrives. Legitimate call.

I received 3 calls from this number; what appeared to be BOA music and ads played, followed by VOIP requesting me to identify myself by my acct# or CC#.  When I stated I'm not going to do that" I was put into a hold queue to listen to more apparent BOA music and ads.  Sam from BOA (with an accent from Bombay) answered and requested my acct# or CC#.  I stated that you have been calling me and this number is not published on any CC or BOA Web Site therefore I was not going to provide that information.  He got very frustrated/angry and told me he couldn't help me without my acct number.  It sounded just too fishy so I told him "put me on your no call list and I will call BOA directly", at which he hung up without another word. I called BOA to find out there is no issues or problems with my accounts.

All options on the automated system take you back to requesting your acct# or CC# or SS#, so I dialed 0 (works on most systems) to speak to a person.

Can't be legit.  I don't even have a bank of america card and I've had the number they tried for years.

called me and said my card was  compromised called Bank of America.It's a scam..............................Then they said I am going to be charged for this phone...my husband works for optimum. ha ha

Got a call from this number about recent ATM activity on my Bank of America Checking Debit card.  Thing is . . . I don't have an account with Bank of America.  I would say fraud!

This number say bank of america. I know is a scam or fraud. Thank you everyone for your help.

Um, just wondering when the heck the FBI is going to shut this guy down, since he's been pulling the same scam for 7 freaking years. I got a call from him today!  7 years and he's still operating home free from the same freaking phone number. Really???

They call and hang up 2 times

I do not have a Bank of America account and yet I received a text message that said the following: FREE TEXT from Bank of America: Message for 'Wrong Customer' re: debit card #3500. To continue using your card, please verify these 3 transactions: 01/12 - ABERCROMBIE & FI - $648.86 (Declined);01/12 - ZUMIEZ #074 - $369.03 (Approved);01/12 - SAFEWAY STORE  1576 - $145.13 (Approved) If you attempted all 3 of these transactions, reply YES. If you do not recognize one or more of them, reply NO. To opt out of text alerts reply STOP.'. I kept receiving these phone calls from them but like I said, I don't even have an account with them :/
