I also received a call, late in the evening and didn't recognize the pay phone number, but listened to the message. It was from a local county jail, and it asked me if I would accept the charges. The poor girl who called had wasted her one phone call to reach us, a wrong number!! From what I can tell, this is the number that is a central switchboard for the jail systems. Not a scam.

i recieved a call from telecion in bosier and for 1 hour it is 8.00 and the taxes or others charges made it into 14.99 they are theieves because that is redicloius .  they ay they dont give mesages from the outside to inmates but what harm would telling him that there is money on there so he  can call.

Received a call from 3187461250 tonight.  Don't know anyone with that phone number or in jail.  I hope they can be stopped.

I ignore it always and they keeeeep calling back. very annoying. I don't know anyone in prision at all or in Louisiana.

i received a call from this number tonight on my cell,didnt answer they left a message in spanish,i have fixed my phone so if they call agann they will automatically go to voice mail,dont know anyone in jail ,especially spanish speaking

received another call in spanish fron this number ,i called 1-800-682-0707 and requestd that they block my number,they did with no problems,i would recommend if you dont want these calls to do that.

It's not a Louisiana number necessarily.. Yes the area code is but this number also is the number that pops up when my boyfriend from Tennessee jail calls me.. So I assume it's just the number for a collect call.. If u answer it and listen to whole thing at the very end it should tell u the persons name

Her name is Carol Ann Blasingame and she is a theif located in Shreveport LA.  She married a relative of mine and stole over 30 grand from him.  If you find her please post on here.  I am in the midst of looking for her.

This is from Telecoin out of Louisiana BUT the person calling you may not be in Louisiana.  My sister in law called me from this number and she was detained in the County Jail in Osage County, Oklahoma.  These people are not in prison they have been arrested and are in a county facility in any state.  My sister in law was arrested for DUI and needed someone to bond her out, so if you have any ornery people in your family you may want to delve deeper into this and find out who called you.

I have been trying to call city tele coin for the last 3 hours. it tells need to press 1 for English, and then nobody answers. very very frustrating!!!!!!! what is wrong with your operators? are they just ignoring your customers?

I just received a call from this number on my Tracfone. It was a recorded message. It informed me that my phone cannot accept collect calls or my balance has been exceeded...  I know people in LA, but none who would be calling me from prison, especially since I wouldn't be able to help them if they did.

I got a call from this number(3187461250) also and i did a call back and it's a prison system, They are located in Lousania, but they said that don't mean the inmate is there in La, it covers a lot of prison system.
