Last week, an anxious young man rang the door bell twice, so I answered (why, I don't know). On behalf of Breathe EZ, developing a vacuum system (said it was the first day on the job, no ID shown) he asked the 3 questions, re: Calgary's outdoor air quality; compare it to indoor and does anyone at home have allergies (guess they can find out if you have pets i.e dogs or who lives there) and then gave me a blue piece of paper indicating you have won a shopping trip - no business given supporting it, or where, not phone numbers...!! and wanted my name and phone number, to call me about the prize....which again I gave before looking at the blue paper.
This week, we had a B & E in a two hour time span when we were out. Coincidence??

Got a call and did the survey they then called a few times and left no message.  I answered the other day and they told me I won one of three prizes.  They wanted to drop it off.  I asked if this was a sales issue they said no.  Foolishly I booked and then thought how dumb it fishy it was because they asked if my husband would be there for a few questions and someone would be in the neighborhood then asked for my address.  When the doorbell rang we ignored it.  They rang a few times then called then rang again.

This is a real company, my brother works for them. It is not a scam in any way. They do do market research on air quality because they sell air purifying equipment. There is actually real prize draws, I believe they are done quarterly for $500. This company has existed for 87 yrs and operates in over 47 countries. They are harmless... it is best to answer ... and request to be taken off the call list, or answer the couple questions and get entered for the draw lol, whatever but just wanted to ease everybodies mind. I myself do not work for the company... I don't even live in the same province but I assure you it isn't a scam and you will not get robbed. Look up Filter Queen or Breathe Easy Homes.

one more thing... remember that anyone can pose as another company .... always insure they can prove and back themselves up before giving out personal information. If someone comes to your home and does not have any identification or whatnot do not give them your info. Rogers Wireless for example even has problems with ppl posing as collection agents and asking you to pay by credit card. There will always be scum bags looking for a way to trick you. It is making it very difficult for valid ethical companies to keep their reputation up. As consumers we need to be responsible.

They sell filterqueen vacuum cleaner/air-purifiers at an extraordinary price of 3000 nd yet they tell uu that since u buying it today u save like 1594.....its called the so called first call special. they trick uu nd get into ur house make uu feel bad abt ur condition nd tell uu that u need this machine or ur gona end up in hospital. then the most dishonest part is wen somebody say NO they offer a demo model thats the model they saw rite there for only 2000 nd Vacuum cleaner for 1500. nd wen someone buys it full price they tell em its brand new. they try to lock uu in a contract where u pay some crazyy interest nd end up paying about 7000. if xomebody wants to buy a vacuum cleaner buy a filterqueen ots the best but not for more than 1300...offer them 1300 nd they will give it to uu nd defender/air-purifier is useless dnt even think abt it. the most [***] up part is that after 10 days they dnt return the product. filterqueen ppl r very dishonest nd high pressure for stay away from them nd regarding the rest buy a machine in there office for 1300.
i worked for this company nd i noe alot abt them dey make some crazy money. they get the system for like 700 nd sell it for 3000. i feel really sorry that i did this nd sold it to ppl for this crazy price.

Same thing here-My caller ID had No NUMBER or Name, but I did answer the question, avoided giving my personal ID. they called me this week (today) offered me a price for participating (rice cooker, garden hose,2 days hotel night), but now they want my personal information, I asked for the phone number and said I will phone them back.
Note: when I ask for the phone number first he try to give me the area code 519,518 then he gave me 403. Very Strange!

Received a call the other day from Breathe Easy Homes who were apparently conducting a survey. Answered a few basic questions. Few days later received call that I was one of the lucky chosen winners with my choice of a rice cooker, three day vacation, or ....(can't remember the other prize). They started out by wanting my full name. At this point I began to ask more questions about the survey and company. The person on the other line would not answer any of my questions and tried to change the subject, finally they hung up on me. I should have asked all those questions the first time around!

they are an utter SCAM of a company, watch out for barb she is trash.

I was just called as well.  I answered their survey a few days ago which wasn't too intrusive.  They called today explaining that I won the prize.  I went along and they offered a rice cooker, garden hose, or deal on a trip.  She asked for my last name, address, wifes name, etc.  I said I wasn't comfortable giving info unless I had info on them.  I asked who they were and if they had a website.  She said they had no website, it was 'under construction'.  That's when I hung up!  SCAM!!!

same happened to me....i asked them i do not want the prizes unless they give me their full website address and a telephone to call back. she dropped the phone immediately!

Wow, there are quite a few complaints here about this one company.

Anyways, I got a call from Breathe EZ about a free prize.  So I look up the company online and find two very interesting articles.

1.  The Better Business Bureau currently lists the company at an F rating (yikes!)

2.  Even more interesting...they have been fined by the CRT for telemarketing to individuals who are listed on the Do Not Call List.  This site actually details the court rulings on the case, pretty interesting read.  It explains how they operate and try to circumvent the DNCL...

My number one rule of thumb for dealing with telemarketers; if I didn't call the company first, chances are they have nothing I need.

Same deal,  answered the survey and got a call for a prize.  A chopper or trip, they began asking a personal questions.  I asked where there company was and more info she said Nepean ontario on Bentley street, when I asked about a website they hung up.

Just called my house. I wish telemarketers would stop calling my house . Stop wasting my time. I have better things to do than talk to someone that is trying to sale me something I don't or need.

I've been recieving these calls too .. I googled and called Breathe Easy (The real Company) and they only operate out of London, ON and do NOT have a Telemarketing Service. I am going to report it to the Canadian Fraud Centre. I encourage you all to do the same too. 1-888-495-8501

Listen breath e-z home in Ontario is the same as the one in calgary it's their old manager that moved their and branched out ! It's all privately owned offices supplied by filter queen ( which is a air purifying system that's been around since 1927 ) , but can clean house with double duty it has a serial number and filter queen is not listed in the category of vacuums . Vacuums don't have serial numbers because they are not tested as a air purifying system qualifications . It has to be FDA approved ! As such. It's a very good product , if you look closely to the companies that have had to ship out of Canada beceause it was such a hazard to Heath ( the phantom first bag less vacuum in early '90 s it's gone didn't last long creator left went and designed new one with a better system but not as great as every one thinks it's only time before that one is booted too! But it's sells every where at a huge cost even for your every day stores .. It's a bummer that the vacuum industry has knocked on doors for years and sold product at a huge price and have sicken it's costumers to death with the disappionments of the results that don't match what they were told ! They have ruined our trust it's to bad for Filter Queen's product!!!

I'm reading , because I went to a friend house and was vacuuming and I thought is a really goog one !  I ask my friend about it and she told me all this I'm reading here today , and she ended buying it from a women named BARB WATERFIELD .  I'm interested about buying this vacuum , now I'm scared , and you are right !  There's not phone number from Ontario at lease, the only real phone number is from Calgary, Alberta!

That Lovey Chahal you are referring to owns a numbers of offices. I personally was lured into working for these decietful scamming con artists. He is a master manipulator along with his brother Shammy who are teaching people how to become just like them & they take advantage of anyone they possibly can to earn a buck. They have become extremely successful at even conning old, weak, desperate people. It's an extremely unethical way of doing business and yes they deserve to be reported by everyone. The products however are exceptional products. Too bad these people are giving Health-Mor a bad reputation. I am fully prepared to take legal action against them, along with a number of other associates.
