This number calls me also. authority must be reported. i believe its a scam after reading here.

wanted to speak to *** salesman as listed on the web - would not speak to any one else - said it was about a survey

never usually pick up - got fed up, found it i is from "Market Probe" - not interested - thank you !

I got two calls from this number and like other posters, was told it was RBC doing a follow up survey after I  had visited an RBC branch the day before, which I had done.
However, I got a creepy feeling and said no thank you, not interested.
When I saw this thread, I got even more concerned so I just now spoke with RBC and gave them the info. The girl at first wanted to brush me off and tell me to contact phonebusters but I persevered and said no, I wanted someone in RBC to tell me that it was NOT them phoning me since the caller knew what branch I had been at.
After being on hold for 10 mins, the RBC staff came back and said YES it was Market Probe (which I knew from here) and YES they were working on behalf of RBC and YES it was legitimate.
I told the staff that obviously others working for RBC did not know that. I asked to have my phone number put on a DNC list which she did.

Gat a call from a guy who said it was a customer survey but then he wouldnt give me more info and hung up

This number keeps calling. Will not leave a msg or say who's calling.

Got a call just now from this number. It was Purolator (or a marketing company they have contracted) wanting to do a quick survey. I declined and don't think it's anything to be concerned about as I have recently used Purolator a number of times...

Got a call from this number at 10:17am, didn't pickup as I didn't recognize number.....message machine kicked in and caller hung up.

I'm getting this call like 5 times a day/Everday.  How do I get rid of this? its so annoying because I never pick up.

called Market Probe 419-233-1555 about why they were calling, it was a survey about a recent visit to RBC.  You can (as I did) to be placed on the do not call list.

They have called twice this evening. Luckily, I had music playing on my laptop each time. When they called, I just put the phone to the speaker and let them listen to the music. Not too sure if they will call back.

Keep receiving calls from this number and they never leave a message. I looked the number up on google and found this page indicating it's a scam of sorts. Glad I didn't answer.

Been getting calls from the 4162330047 number, never pick up and never a message left. Also tried calling back and busy signal. is this being investigated? how do you report this?

Call came to my Cogeco area code 289 nmumber. First time for this to happen. Somebody is providing telephone service ti this number and action should be taken by the service supplier!

Got a few calls.  Lady ask if I had time for a survey.  Said I  was busy.  called back twice.  Not interested calling on my dime.  Go away

As has been suggested previously this appears to be a call from survey firm Market Probe.  I called 416-233-1555 and asked to be put on the "do not call list".  The guy at the other end was very courteous and prompt.  
I still hate call centre operations, but as they go I don't think this one is anything to worry about.  For those who have received calls from this number that sound really scammy - and there are apparently a few described in these posts - remember that any boiler room phone scammer can spoof just about any caller ID.  Faking the ID of a legit market survey firm is a logical thing for a scammer to do.

They call me as well. Next time I'll use Judy's trick & let them listen to music. Sometimes when they ask for me I'll say "Hold on, I'll get him!" then let the phone sit until they hang up.

I taped 2 sheets of legal paper that said take me off your list and faxed it to them for a couple of hours.
