Got a call from 416-233-0047 twice this week around 10:22am but I didnt answer.  Not why I'm getting these calls but I am sure glad I came across this site. Be safe all.

Got a call,answered and nothing

The phone is ringing a few times a day with nobody at the other end.  Call display it shows the 416-233-0047.  It is very distructive and disturbing....

This number keeps calling our house & I will not answer the phone because I do not know who is calling from this number.

If you call market probe back a nice gentle man will put you on their do not call list.
It's that simple.

I just did it myself.

If you do this for every moronic telemarketer/survey company/police association/charity that decides to invade YOUR privacy and steal YOUR valuable time by calling any time they choose, then you won't have much time for YOUR life.

i got this number ,they said ,they call ferm RBC bank.and they ask me security question ,i mad mistake
and answer them , I am worried now

Got this call from 416 233 0047 and they knew my full name AND house address!  He said they were a sister company of the Royal Bank and for $ 9.+ per month, I could get a $ 200,000.00 Life Insurance policy - no Medical check up etc.

When I asked some questions, they were very confident and sounded very professional.  When he asked me for my Birth Date I immediately declined and asked why did they not have that information as it was on file.  Then he said that he did not have the file in front of him and admitted the "sister company" thing calling on BEHALF of the Royal Bank Life Insurance company.  

I said, sorry, no way I am giving that out.  He then tried to convince me I would be losing out on a great deal.  .... c'est la vie

Thanks to all for giving me some good ideas.  I'm tired of them calling too.  Next time I'll actually answer and say, "Sure I might be glad to participate - IF you would answer 3 questions first.  
1.  Are you calling from Market Probe?
2.  Did you get this phone number through RBC?
3.  Will you please take this number off your call list?"
And then I'll hang up.  But I'm fairly certain it won't get this far.  I don't appreciate how we've been made to feel and I just want them to know that I know what they're up to...

It's too bad that just because you may do business with a company, affiliates of that company will also
extract the right to get your business as well.  I prefer to make choices based on my needs, not on whomever gets my unlisted phone number.  And nothing annoys me more than a cold call with a hard sell.

Started an official complaint with RBC regarding Market Probe activities.

RBC and Market Probe have a relationship:

Based on this relationship RBC should most definitely be able to exert influence on Market Probe to put a stop to the harassing phone calls.

This number is calling our house we will not answer so the can stop calling any time.  Don't know who it is & don't care.  If they can't show their name then I will not answer.

Got a call from this scam number and was asked if I had been to my RBC branch recently. I told them I've never had an RBC account and they immediately hung up. I tried calling back but it's always busy.

Constant, constant calling from this number. Have answered a few times, but get dead air, indicating that multiple calls are being placed at the same time, and the one who picks up first gets the caller on the other end.

Extremely annoying. Please STOP!
