- Anon replies to bewarnedI worked for these guys in London as a struggling student.
They are a "genuine" market research company although their methods are pretty dodgy. Work conditions are appalling there, they still pay in cheque form and if you don't make your targets they cancel your shifts by text. The management hide in the back offices where you are expressely forbidden from going so you never see anyone in charge. If a caller demands to speak to a supervisor you are fired for being a nuisance (by text)
A few years ago one of their bank surveys had live customer data, which is worrying when they'll hire literally anyone off the streets!
Horrible company! - paul vachonyour calls are annoying us so quit it.

- Dale| 3 repliesWe get calls daily from this number. Tried calling it back several times a day but always busy.
- MR Researcher replies to Dale| 2 repliesNo point calling it back. We couldn't carry out the survey on an inbound call. Just wait and we'll call you again soon enough!
- DALE replies to MR Researcher| 1 replyYou missed the point!! Stop calling you are a pain in teh you know what!!!
- Mr Researcher replies to DALEHahahahaaha.
Think there's a nice long bank one coming up very soon.
Tell you what, post your number in a reply and I'll make totally sure we don't call you! - missThe reason marketprobe canada only say limited things is because they can only read verbatim. If they say anything other than that they can get fired or written off. They cannot disclose any information to anyone other than client being surveyed this is because they want the customers confidentiality. In case that the customers did not want any one else to know any transactions they have done. The reason why market probe calls and surveys is to find out if RBC needs to improve on their customer service. It's a legitimate company so even if you call the police on them. They will not come and arrest anyone in that company, only because RBC company is the one that's asked them to do the surveys. The tellers or call centre may not know that there are such things as the surveys being conducted for them this is because its the person in higher positions that have asked them to do the surveys.

- AnihsatGot a call last night from this number. Was a lady who was inquiring about my recent interaction at the RBC, as I had a meeting with them last week. It was a run of the mill rate the bank from 1-10, and asked if they could send the information I provided to the bank. I don't think it's a scam. I think it's a company which other companies rent out to do their information collection.

- AgnesA boy using this number just called. Claimed to be asking for another person who lives here, said that due to client confidentiality they cannot reveal who they are, and I know for a fact that my friend does NOT deal with any companies. No credit cards or other accounts, as everything is in my name, and no business dealings, as he has a job. The boy's voice wavered when he tried to lie about this client confidentiality crap, so I yelled at him "You are absolutely [***], as he deals with no one, now F*CK OFF" And slammed down the phone. I expect much more of this harassment, and this number is in my name, not my friend's.
- AgnesThey called again just now. I just picked up and hung up the phone. Rudely.
- AgnesAll sorted. Had to call RBC then the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre, then the company from which this call had come - Market Probe Canada. It is a highly unprofessional marketing research company that many have problems with, and I demanded my number removed from their list. They were in fact calling on behalf of RBC, though they did not give me their name or the name of the company or that they were calling on behalf of RBC. The GIRL (not woman) who answered there acknowledged that this was wrong, and I informed her that when I did this job as a teenager, we did not handle ourselves so poorly. I finished the call by saying "And if this happens again, I will destroy your company" and hung up on her.

- LauraSo I live in Lethbridge, AB and I got a call from this woman tonight at about 8:45pm she asked for me by first name and I said you have the wrong number and hung up because I didn't recognize it...I then tried calling the number 5 times from different phones and kept getting a busy tone. Don't know what it's about but I'm glad I'm not the only one
