3 times today this number calls today morning afternoon and now, nobody answers, I called back and get recorded message. " we are sorry,  your call cannot be completed as dialed or has been disconnected, please hang up and try again" 2 times, how can it call me if disconnected.

I received a call from this number and the man stated he was calling about US government grants. I said that's odd since you're not in the us and asked to have my number removed, he then went off saying i was rude and he threatened me, called me a [***] and [***], told me he was going to have his men sent to my house and they were going to do what ever they want to me. I told him then I was reporting him and hung up. I tried to call the number back to see if I could get someone else in the call center so I could let them know this was going on but I got no answer. Then he called back, again threatening me saying him and his men would be at my house in 30 min and they were going to [***] me up. I hung up and called the police.

canadian embassy? really? it's a scammer. calls are being rerouted via skype. this is not microsoft support, nor the US gov't. think about it. why would the US gov't outsource it's calls to India, let alone contact anyone about free money. SMH.

I have been getting multiple calls daily from them. I had 6 in one hour today and four others sprinkled throughout, They were told over and over to take me off their call. I had one guy say "ohhh you have such a sexy voice" I hung up on him. Calls continued. I picked up the phone on one call of theirs and just started yelling "WHAT? waiting...they would say can you hear me now...I repeatedly yelled "WHAT????" as though I couldn't hear them....they hung up me...imagine. Brought my boats air horn in...looking forward to the next call. :) My calls are supposedly a US government grant...they never get further than that with me and won't.

I also received a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming my computer was sending virus messages.  I hung up.  I also received a similar call last week and the number on the caller id came up as all 0s.  I don't know where they got my number but they can leave me alone.

Well, "the government" must not be getting any bites on their free grants, because my offer from the middle eastern sounding man was for $15000!! I just kept laughing and said i dont want any free money and hung up. No threatening call backs so far........

The heavy accented person called my house from Tornanto and my dingy sister-in-law answered and excitedly told me that Microsoft was calling and turn my computer on because they are getting massive error reports and want to check it! I'm sure glad I was home! Right away I was telling her the call was a scam and the caller was getting her to believe it was real until I asked for a phone number to call him back to verify and he said I wouldn't be able to reach him and he'd call back. The End. (i hope)

This number just called my NINE year old daughter's cell phone that she keeps with her for emergencies, it was a computerized voice saying "We regret to inform you that your debit card has been locked. To reactivate your card press 1." Well, I pressed 1 hoping to get to an actual human being but of course that didn't happen. I get another computer voice saying "Please enter your 16 digit card number to reactivate your debit card." I decided to post this here in hopes that other people will see this before falling for such a scam. I wish there was a way to track these people down, that's just a flat out attempt at stealing, and I always worry that especially the elderly will fall for something like this. It's just ridiculous. I hope they haven't actually fooled anyone into actually giving them their card number. Of course I didn't enter a card number because a) I knew better and b) they were stupid enough to try to pull this on a nine year old girl! I can only assume that the next thing "needed" would be the CVV # or pin # or both. Ridiculous. BEWARE!!!

I received a call from this number today from a guy with a thick Indian accent.  he said he was from windows and my computer was sending him error messages.  After a few minutes of trying to figure out who he was and that he was not from my company support I hung up.  He called back a few mintues later with the number blocked but by that time I had already searched the number and found the same.

What a scam!  Received a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was with Windows and claiming my computer was sending virus messages that needed to be taken care of immediately. Told him my service tech would check it out and he said "No, your computer service person will not be able to fix the problem." These are scam artist prying on unsuspecting (usually older) people.

Got a call tonight guy had Indian accent. Said my computer was calling their computer and he wanted me to log on show he could show me how to fix it.

I received the same call but  5 times in one day.  He said he name was Brian and that he is calling from Windows and I asked who makes windows - he said Microsoft, I said can I have your phone number and he hangs up.  The next call he talked slow as if I didn't understand him the first time and he said "your computer keeps sending us message - a lot.  I asked what company are you calling from - he said windows and of course I asked, who makes windows he said Microsoft I said what is your phone number and he said 85540313 I said your missing number he said 3113 - I said "Dude your still missing numbers and hung up on him.  The person has a thick accent and is not sure how to quite get away with a scam.  If he would have given me the phone number I would have called and then reported it.  My computer is not sending anybody any messages ...  dumb A@$.  !
