Why are you calling me?

Funny Thing....They use the same exact phone number to scam for different stories.  They have called us 5 days in a row.  Once it was the old "your computer has a virus" scam.  Another time it was about "reducing interest rates on my credit card" and another time it was the "health care coverage that I supposedly applied for" WTF.  It's as if they try different scams and then say "ooops that didn't work....lets try this..."  At LEAST use a different number for each type of scam.  Stupid People leave me the heck alone!

That's funny...."I don't have a computer."  LOL

A guy with heavy accent, he called me last month also and asked if I remembered. Said he was calling from Microsoft because they were getting errors with my Windows Update. I asked if they called everyone in the world - he said no that they were going to help me with my Windows Update. He said if I go to my computer he can show me the errors.  I said there was nothing wrong with my computer and asked if he thought I was stupid.  Then he raised his voice and said, "BUT YOUR COMPUTER IS GOING TO CRASH!". I said, well, maybe I can call you back. Then said he said he was a contractor for Microsoft and was calling from GC Tech Support.... Global Comm .. gctechsupport.com and left a number of 909-833-4727.  I believe what the scam is .. they try to convince you of fake errors on you pc so you become alarmed .. they have someone have you load software that allows them full control of your pc .. they direct you to paypal for payment and if payment not made they delete your files.

calls 5 times a day thick accent saying I have a grant of 8500

People calling from this number states that he is receiving messages from my computer and wants us to get on the computer so he can fix it. He also states that he is calling from NY. These people are scammers!!!

Scam - he was offering me a $9200.00 grant.  Told me he was calling from Washington DC.  I asked why he was popping up as a Toronto number, he insisted he was calling from Washington DC.  I asked for his EIN number and he hung up.

There is no "Canadian Embassy" in Toronto. Toronto is in Canada. Embassies are a country's representation abroad. No country keeps an embassy within its own borders.

caller said he was calling from WebTech Support. When I asked what country he was in, he said he was in United States of America. I then inquired as to what State was he located in and he said he was in Texas Plano. I told him thanks for trying to scam me, then I hung up. The call came in on my cellphone.

I received a call from 416-364-1111 as a missed call. Having a friend that's from Canada I thought her family was calling. But when I called It said invalid number. Then I remembered I received a call stating that I won a goverment grant of 8,000 as well from this number.

I just received a call from these guys at 1:24 A.M. of course I missed the call but it's the same thing. I tried to call the number back and it is not a working number. The next time they call I am going to tell them I am getting my number changed and pass them on over to my lawyer's office and let them handle it.

I only speak English and wtf do u want? I am unemployed and homeless and u just wasted my time making me hate the Omaha area a little more

Received calls from this number saying they were doing a fire survey in my area.  I informed him that I don't do surveys over the phone to send it in the mail.  Caller had a an accent from India.  Asked caller to remove my name from the call  list.  He yelled at me and said he will never take my number off the list and hung up.

This number called my phone twice 416-364-1111 and left no message. I didn't answer my phone but my caller ID shows Langara Invstmt, Toronto, ON. I have been getting no stop calls for 2 months from different numbers all over the US, Canada and from different countries overseas. It all started with me looking for a installment loan and I filled out an application online with a company that matches you with lenders. Well that's when it all started "None stop calls"! Total calls as of today is 3550. I am glad I have a blocking app but, it doesn't stop them from calling, even when my number is registered with the Do-Not-Call list. These people that are calling are not even here in the US or Canada even though the numbers show that they are. They're not! Some how they are fouling the phone companies and getting US and Canada phones to make there scam calls to people like me and others. If I don't answer one call then right after that one another different number calls. It's like they are setting in front of different phones to make their scam calls from. I did one mistake and answer one call and the India speaking guy threatened me if I didn't take his companies offer of $10,000. They would take money from my checking account or worse. I told him that my Government will catch you and your company and then he threatened me even more when it comes to my family. From that call that day, I haven't answered my phone...I only answer when I know the caller. I also don't trust secure lending sites anymore. They don't know that they have been hacked by these scamers posing as lenders and they are getting peoples information that way.  

Keep getting a call they never answer

Mom received a call from this number.   The category I would put this call in would be threat.   Muttered something about a lawyer, warrant and the FBI.   I wish I would have been here, I would have told him to put it where the sun don't shine.   Seniors are not so blunt in their efforts to get off the phone.  Thank you

Got a voicemail but it was garbled but since it looks like people are getting many calls it asked to report it when I searched number online.

I keep getting calls from this #  and they have a lot of noise in the back ground.  Is in area of Canadian international airport.     It is a scam probably trying to keep you online so they can charge it to your ph bill.
