Last year on vacation I made a business connection with a Dominican Prostitute in Puerto Plata. We exchanged phone numbers and she calls me on occasion to check if I am coming back for a repeat. When she calls my caller ID usually gives me her number with a Dominican area code. However when the call is dropped before I answer my Caller ID displayed this number instead of hers.

This idiot called here 7x after 10:00 p.m. The dummy blocked the caller ID the first 3x; but then must have forgotten, because then it came through and I was able to look it up. I don't answer blocked or unknown calls, period. It's even on my answering machine. Besides, it's after the hour that ANYONE other than a family member should be calling my house. We normally go to bed before this hour, but I am watching the Big Brother finally and happen to be up. I would be PISSED if this jerk woke me up, but thankfully I don't have the ringer on my phone up when I am asleep! Once I let the call go through to my answering machine and they hung up, so it obviously wasn't important enough to leave a message!

Received a call from a gentlemen stating he was calling from the US Government in Washington DC to give me $7000 grant money. I asked him how he was calling from DC with a Canada number and he recited a different number with a 202 area code. I said, "that's not the number you are calling from" and he hung up.

My phone ranged and this number popped up and it rang only twice. Whoever it was they ended the call. I don't know nobody with this phone number, so im going to block that number. When I looked it up its from Toronto, Canada. These calls need to stop and isn't there anyone that can stop these people from calling and harassing.

This is the 2nd time from this number I am pretty sure that this person is a no good scammer.

Definitly a scam number. I got a call saying I had a virus on my pc operating windows.... I have a Mac.

This number - 416-364-1111 - is affiliated with this number:  209-813-0503 .
Accents have been both Indian/Pakistani AND Chinese - southern China accent - (perhaps Shanghai?)
I respond to them in Russian - and they immediately hang up - except once - the speaker understood Russian, and tried to converse (in very poor Russian).  
They obviously don't care about DO NOT CALL LIST .... thus, your or my reporting them, won't do any good

I have been getting calls from this number at least 10 times a day for the last few days- very intent on getting in contact with someone - but i do not pick up calls from unknown numbers, so have no idea why they were calling me - given the comments, and the insistence, i would imagine i have now landed on one of those lists for scammers - oh joy. :(

Rec'd a call from heavily accented man.  Told him I wasn't interested.  Immediately called back from different number (416) 364-1111 and said he wasn't a telemarketer.  Told him I was on a do not call list and to take me off his list and not call back.  He has since called back 4 times this afternoon, but of course, no one is on the other end when I answer the phone.

Called me about 14 times in the last 2 days saying they were from United States Federal Grant Department and I was approved for a $9,000 Grant. They then asked for my email address when I told them imo would not give them any information they hung up on me. One time I told them to place me on their do not call list the caller placed me on hold and then an automated message cam up and said "did the representive help you? Press 1 for yes 2 for no" I pressed 2 and was hung up on again. Ended up changing my number!!!

Caller said they were from the federal government and because I was such a good citizen they wanted to give me $9,000.00.  All they needed were some account numbers.  I told them I would not give out any information, that she was fraud and a phoney and never to call me again.

I was just called from (416)364-1111 they said they were the US government grant department and I was picked out for a $7,000. Grant. That the government picks 1,700 people each year for grants. And I was chosen because I don't have a criminal record and I don't owe the IRS . That I pay my taxes on time. It's not the first time they have called me and told me that I have been selected for a grant. One time it was $7,200. And they wanted me to pay $299. That I would get it back from the Grant, that they would give me a grant for $7,499. The other one was for $8,000. I didn't respond. I've even told them not to call me anymore. That I even turned them into the BBB & FTC and they still call me. I wish the FBI would put a stop to it. Because some people don't know that the government doesn't pick anyone for grants. That you have to go to the government website & apply for them.

This is the third ttime I have received a call from these scanners.  Is there sometihing that can be done about them.  It got to be against the law

Guy with Indian accent said he was with the sheriff dept and I was under investigation I need to contact him or I will have severe consequence. Idk what kind of scam he is running but I am going to report him.

Home repair curious as to who I am I said to call back to talk to homeowner they assumed out loud it was because the owners worked evenings . Why the caller seemed so curious about details ..

This number keeps calling but i don't answer and they don't leave a message

Received call from this number today - stating he was from Microsoft. Caller ID said Toronto, Canada. Didn’t give him a chance to say anything else, just hung up on him!
